The fact they give their songs and albums stupid little names to try and sell more?

It was fun at first using 'cute' or 'unique' words and putting them together but it's ******ing annoying now!

For Example:

Fireflies
Ocean Eyes
Owl City
Vanilla Twilight
Umbrella Beach


Fireflies was a decent song, infact it was amazing this time last year but I hate it now for some reason.

Vanilla Twilight, I mean what on earth is up with that name? Jesus.

Umbrella Beach, I don't even want to know or care what that's about because no doubt it has no relation to the totally random name that they probably came up with when walking along a beach one day.


Do they bug anyone else?

They've completely flopped anyway, I don't think I've heard anything big of them [Chart Wise] since Fire Flies.

Adam from Owl City sent a tweet to his fans today on Twitter, saying that there will be a "New album on the near horizon" and that the release date will be announced soon.

It's like me being a singer and calling myself The Mitchell Brothers or something like that.

the only song i know by them is Firelies and i HATE that song, whats next Moths & Bee's.

The Mitchell Brothers is plural though. Own City is not. It's not our fault that you are not aware of the thousands of solo artists who go under project names.

'Hat Dimension' is a lot better than 'Johnathan Smith' is you want to sell records.

I liked him briefly before the whole Fireflies business but I can't stand him now, he's one of the artists that just grates.

He is just incredibly unspectacular I think. Nice gentle radio ditties for my mam to sing along to when she does the dishes. Generic as hell.

I listened to Fireflies, as everyone seemed to be saying it's like the best song ever at the time.

It's nothing special, tbh I can't even remember how it went, it kinda bored me I guess.
It wasn't bad, just wasn't anything special.
