Tweed, 23, was quizzed on suspicion of affray at a police station for several hours.

Cops had been trying to contact him since a brawl at a club owned by his friend Mark Wright, star of TV series The Only Way is Essex.

Builder Tom Grantham, 21, was left with a black eye and swollen face.

Wright, 23, and Tweed's brother Lewis, 20, were arrested hours after the incident at Deuces Bar and Lounge in Chigwell, Essex, early on Monday.

Both spent a day in cells before being bailed.

Jack Tweed arrived at Ilford Police Station, East London, with his solicitor at 3.15pm yesterday, after fixing an appointment. He was released on bail until later this month.

Don't be surprised to see him getting let off with a slap on the wrist, if not exonerated altogether, as is mostly the case with these sorts of crimes.

Mr Tweed, 23, is accused of threatening and abusive behaviour during a scuffle outside Wright's Deuces Bar and Lounge, in Chigwell, Essex, on 3 January.

He will appear with younger brother Lewis, 20, and friend Mark Wright, 24, at Redbridge Magistrates' Court on 8 February.

The Met Police said they have been charged under the Public Order Act.

Earlier on today Jade Goody's widower and his Only Way Is Essex pal, Mark Wright were spotted arriving at Redbridge Magistrates Court to face charges of using threatening and abusive behaviour during a fight outside Deuces Bar in Chigwell on 3rd January.

Jade Goody's widower Jack Tweed appeared in court today to deny attacking a man outside an Essex nightclub.

Tweed, 23, who married the Big Brother star two years ago today shortly before she lost her battle against cervical cancer, appeared at Redbridge Magistrates' Court this morning.

He appeared alongside his brother Lewis, 20, and 24-year-old The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright.

All three entered not guilty pleas to a Section 4 public order offence of using threatening words and behaviour towards 21-year-old builder Tom Grantham on January 3rd this year outside Juice's Bar (sic) in Chigwell Road, Woodford Green.

IIRC, Tweed pleaded not guilty to his 3 previous charges, too, but he still served time for 2 of them ..... ;)
