THE wait could be over. After half a decade peddling tracks from Back To Black, AMY WINEHOUSE will finally treat fans to new material when she plays shows in Brazil this weekend.
Amy's backing singer ZALON made the claim on Twitter and posted pictures of the crew rehearsing.
He tweeted: "Amy Winehouse, Zalon, HESHIMA and band rehearsing for Brazil tour. Get ready! New songs."

Can't wait for Amy's next projects!

Not everyone thinks she's an amazing vocal talent, and my point was that she's wasted half a decade on drugs, I'm amazed anyone still cares.

But she seems to be doing okay-ish now. So long as the quality is thre in the songs and her voice is near what it was I think this could be one of the biggest music comebacks of our generation. Of course there is the possibilit she will flop but I think thats a long shot.

She had a #1 album and one top 10 single, to me that just isn't all that impressive, I understand that her fans are excited but to me she's very overhyped and almost treated as if she was much more successful before she turned into a trainwreck than she actually was. Her voice doesn't appeal to me personally but good luck to her, nice to hear she's doing better now!

I think it's the success of a british artist in America that made her fascinating to me especially someone who let's be honest didnt really care if it did well or not. I get not everyone likes her, I didnt like BtoBlack when it first came out but I went and got Frank then that an just sort of became a big fan...starnge cause she efinately doesnt look like my cup of tea on paper.

But then her success in the USA isn't massively different to her success in the UK; the same album went to #2 in the US which naturally means it sold a lot more, but then her first album went to 61, one single went to #9, another went to #77 and none of the rest charted there. She's done alright for herself but after taking 5 years to start working on a 3rd album, I'm just surprised anyone cares about her now. I wonder if she wasn't in the limelight for her drugs problem, would she still have any interest in her? I say that because, while she doesn't appeal to me, other people are excited for her music after a 5 year wait, so that does say a lot about her talent.

Yeah, if she's compared to someone like Sade, the latter had 4 "smash" albums in (a similar) 7 years, charting at 2,1,3 and 10 in the UK and 5,1,7 and 3 in the US ..... nuff said .....

Apparently she did okay last night her voice is good. However her being her she forgot lyrics and walked off stage. Only 1 new song "Outside Looking In" and she did a cover of "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams".
