10 points for each correct bottom three prediction, extra ten points for getting all three! so 40 points available for this. 10 points if you correctly predict someone to be eliminated, 20 points if you predict both eliminees :)

What do you guys think, should we wait till the competition stages start properly, in week three before I start allocating points, then hopefully a few more people will sign up.....ho hum! we can but try, I will keep prompting for people to taker part, and see how many we get.

I think Dominic Cork will go, and id say the other will be out of Dave Vitty, Chloe Madeley or Elen Rives. Probably Elen Rives, but if not her then Chloe Madeley.
Its anyones game though if Laura Hamilton can end up in the bottom. Although i cant see Sam Attwater, Jennifer Metcalfe or Denise Welch going in the first show

Next week will be a good show. It seems like they have saved the best dancers for the 2nd week? The 2nd week contestants look more promising. Have no idea who will go. However I do have a feeling at least 2 good skaters will end up in the bottom 3.

not starting allocating points till week three when the competition starts properly, although I think its pointless doing these qualifying stages.....but it makes them more money I guess. lol.

My computer was down so i couldnt predict last night but i dont suppose it matters seeing as we aren't starting properly til next week lol.
I would have said Dominic, Craig and Dave were the weakest three but id have predicted Craig, Dominic and Elen to be in the bottom 3, even though i thought she was quite good, with Dominic and Elen out
Glad Craig went though, i thought he was the worst of the 8. Thought it should have been him and Dominic though

Hiya Suze :cat: you can predict from now if you like, anytime throughout the main show tomorrow night, right up to the start of the results show, so 9.30 that is. We have 5 players, lol, not very many eh, but we can have a bit of banter and friendly rivalry for the competition, few more may join in as the weeks progress. My prediction will probably be: bottom two - Johnson and Denise, with Johnson eliminated, but won't post till I see them all skate.
Thank you SSF :) I shall take an early shot in the dark then, as at this stage I don't think the vote offs will rely so much on the Ice skating as popularity and even the pro partners. So will say that I expect Steven and Denise will be the bottom two with Steven being voted off in the skate off.

I think Dominic will get the sympathy vote for this week so i reckon Dave will be in the bottom with maybe an unexpected skater, say Jeff Brazier or Johnson Beharry would be more worthy of being in the bottom

I am excited for tonights show, especially as the contestants get to choose who goes home in the results show........Interesting Twist indeed. Hope they only do it once though. Imagine what the atmos will be like if for example Kerry was bottom two, and didnt go home, but a couple of them did actually vote for her to go. lmao!! Only an example, I don't think Kerry would be bottom two anyhow.
Yes, the twist is ok as a one off :devil: and early on, not sure it would have gone down so well later in the competition though :laugh: I don't think Kerry will be in the bottom two either just yet.

i agree the way they chose who went was a bit too harsh.
Dominic should have gone but i felt sorry for him, he looked really hopeful that he might stay
This is the part of Dancing on Ice where it gets harder to predict now from the fifth elimination onwards, but also more fun as it is harder to predict. I think this is where people start to get fed up with the funny, bad, worse of the skating and we start to see clear favourites emerging and fan bases secured. Also there is the vote tranference from some when someone they voted for has been eliminated. I expect some Dominic fans will look at who voted for Dominic to stay and possibly transfer their votes to any of them for loyalty. For that reason alone, I expect Denise in particular could well be safe next week, and possibly Jeff might be up again, along with Kerry or Jen, I don't know why, but I just get a feeling Jen might be in that bottom two next. But might wait until Sunday and watch for improvements and the order in which they skate before I decide for sure.

I agree actually i can see Denise getting a lot of support, and i think Jen is by far one of the top runners but also get that feeling that she may end up in the bottom two. I think provided she doesnt have another bad week that Kerry will remain for quite a while aswell. I think Jeff could get through next week but dont think hes going to last that long.
I agree heres where it gets exciting. I cant see Sam, Laura, Chloe, Vanilla Ice or Kerry going for a while yet. Think Denise will have a good fanbase carrying her too. People like Jen will always suffer coz shes not the worst but not the best either so people tend to forget to vote. Dave, Johnson and Jeff will probably be the next likely ones to go but u never can tell.

I think maybe once people have got fed up with the bad ones and theyve gone, like steven arnold, dominic cork, dave vitty etc, thats when people will start getting bored of the johnson vote. He isnt that bad but as people are starting to go hes becoming one of the weakest. I like him but his routines are usually pretty boring and unthrilling. I dont think Denise is given enough credit. Ok so shes not the best but shes not as bad as theyre making out i dont think. And at least with Denise its sort of exciting to watch, theres more charisma to it. I think thats the same reason Daves stayed in aswell

Intriguing choice and I do agree Johnson should be bottom two, however he is getting the sympathy vote, I think he is an amazing guy, but not a good contestant. Kerry was rubbish, but has loads of fans who may keep her in! It's getting hard to guess now how it will go, and I don't know what order the bookies have them down as??

It's a bit weird, SSF, because when you offered me the option that I could change my pick, I almost did for a split second as I had a bad feeling that Ice instead of Jeff would be in the bottom two, and Jen would go. I would have had a clean sweep if I had changed my picks :eek:

It is getting harder to predict now, however, many should now be getting their solid fanbases, and I think the shock of last weeks bottom two will have some voting who hadn't started voting up until now, plus some of those whose favourite just went out, transferring their votes. I also think Rob will probably be safe now for at least a couple of weeks, and some voters may now be taking it a bit more seriously by voting on the Ice Skating Celebs rather than their favourite Pros.

I felt bad for Rob and Jen, but had a feeling she might not have enough support and be up, and she was along with Rob :( Maybe it's the shake up/wake up call some of the voters needed.

Least i did pretty well this week on the predictions lol
Im gonna stick in an early prediction for next sunday but ill probably change it
Im going to say bottom two on Sunday 20th will be Kerry and then im not sure on a second so ill probably change it later. Im thinking maybe Denise although i do like her. And i think Johnson should be now but i know he wont be. So im gonna go for a wild guess of Kerry and Vanilla Ice for bottom two. with Kerry going
Although it really should be Johnson's time whose up now. Theres a few that are not as good as the front runners but Johnson is nowhere near any of the others
I did well also, if the judges had voted Kerry off, I would have had a clean sweep :)
Going to guess that the coming Sunday it will be be Denise's turn for the bottom two, and Kerry again if she is not left to skate near the end. And will guess that they will vote Kerry off the next time.

I am not going to put my next prediction in yet, as according to a DSer, there is a twist the coming Sunday, and that could upset the applecart if the following is true about the twst, which I have copied and pasted here.
Each contestant will skate once and be scored. Then they will form two teams, and the better team gets their scores doubled.

Very shocked and not at all happy with this weeks results, it was farcical.

When I saw where Rob was on the board, and also the shyte music he was given to skate to, then I knew he might not be safe after that. He did well, but others were given better muisc to skate to and better choreography for their music. Methinks they maybe wanted Rob out this Sunday gone :( incase he had a chance of winning against say Sam or Laura? Plus they know how the voting is going, so the effect of putting those lower scorers in the voting on at the beginning wouldn't help skaters like Laura. I expect they counted on Laura being in the bottom two against either Jeff or Rob.

When I saw where Rob was on the board, and also the shyte music he was given to skate to, then I knew he might not be safe after that. He did well, but others were given better muisc to skate to and better choreography for their music. Methinks they maybe wanted Rob out this Sunday gone :( incase he had a chance of winning against say Sam or Laura? Plus they know how the voting is going, so the effect of putting those lower scorers in the voting on at the beginning wouldn't help skaters like Laura. I expect they counted on Laura being in the bottom two against either Jeff or Rob.

I suspect the producers want Johnson out this week if he is topping the votes and might topple a favourite in the final, and this is probably the only way they can think of to achieve it. Sad if they are manipulating it that way. So what ever team Johnson is on, expect that team to be the bottom team come Sunday, no matter if that team may do a better job.
I actually hope many people cotton onto this and despite if some dislike Johnson or hs skating play the producers at their own game and vote vote vote to keep Johnson in, thus sticking two virtual fingers up at the Dancing on Ice Producers for messing with Dancing on Ice so much this year.

On that then, I will predict Johnson and Chloe in the bottom two with Johnson going for my prediction this week.
As I suspected they would, they put Laura's team through to try and oust Johnson this week. Let's see if the judges ploy works?

Only just got time to get my prediction in, had trouble getting on line tonight. I am going for Jeff and Johnson, and Johnson will go home.
Think we all got at least one of the bottom two right :) Guessed the Dancing on Ice producers did the twist to get Johnson in the bottom two.

that would be my second guess too after johnson and jeff. getting hard to predict now. Good on Chloe though for getting to the last 5 and NEVER being in the bottom 2, shes been one of the biggest suprises, i didnt think she would last long after the skaters were announced in december. She deserves to be in the final i reckon :)

I really am not sure any more as both Laura and Chloe have stepped up their game so much, but will say Laura the winner and Sam second of those left.
