ELIJAH WOOD is to reprise his role as Frodo Baggins for new film The Hobbit.
Rumours about the pint-sized actor's involvement in the project, a prequel to The Lord Of The Rings were confirmed by fan site theonering.net.
Elijah, 29, will kick start the film by reading from the Red Book of Westmarch, introducing audiences to the stories of his uncle Bilbo's adventures upon which the film is based.
