will.i.am has insisted that the next Black Eyed Peas album will be "totally different".
The group, who released their sixth studio album The Beginning in November last year, said that they are always looking to the future and aim to create music that is unpredictable.
"You always have to look far ahead. The listeners four years from now - that's who I’m looking at, that's where I’m switching it up towards," he told the Daily Star.
"You have to keep people guessing. As soon as people know what you're going to do, it isn't fun anymore.
"Our only competition is ourselves. If you go on iTunes, where it says 'Listeners also liked…' each of our albums has totally different artists that the fans liked. We are the only group that's like that."
He added: "The new project after The Beginning is going to be totally, totally different again. All I'll say is, it ain't music."
will.i.am recently revealed that he views Black Eyed Peas as "a brand, not a band".

fergie needs to go solo and kill them off for good.
Can't believe he said himself it's not music. Heh. It's just too easy to make a snappy remark about.

They are horrific, shouldn't have brought out 'music' in the first place.
"a brand, not a band"

That quote sums them up for me, just like the Sugababes, they've lost whatever bit of soul they had there in the first place in favour of smart business moves that nobody but they think are good ideas. As someone who only got to know and like them through the addition of Fergie, I can now safely say I don't care about them as a band - they've sold out.

Seething hate.
I imagine they've gone their entire careers alienating their fanbase with changes. I remember when the idiot chavs in my year disliked the Black Eyed Peas ffs!

Considering that The Beginning is a failure, that's not a bad idea.
Can't stand him. Fergie is the only good thing about BEP.

To call them, a brand not a band is the utimate FU to all their fans. I agree with Zee and Shaun, they have not interest in the artistic merits of their music they're simply out to make money.

'It ain't music'
Yeah mate, neither is half the sh*t you've been producing since 2009.
'We're looking at our fans 4 Years into the future, that's how I'm looking at'
What a douche bag. I hope they aren't here 4 years in the future.
The best thing for these dick heads to do right now would be to just stop making this thing they call music.
Or, go back to REAL Music.
Go back to the sound of Where Is The Love, or ****** off William, Yes I'm not going to call you by your rather idiotic stage name.
Of course, you could always kick that talentless mess Fergie out off the band, sorry 'brand' and replace her with Cher Lloyd.

Fergie can't sing.
She shouts, Death Metal 'singers' are better are shouting down the microphone than she is.
Where Is The Love, Now she had a lovely voice on that and another track, forget the name though.
Boom Boom Pow, Meet Me Halfway, Dirty Bit etc
Her voice sounded god awful through them.
The only reason she's in the group is because they weren't taking off without a female vocalist.
Replacing her with Cher Lloyd, the reason I said that was because William arse licks Cheryl Cole and if he were to add anyone to this 'band' right now, he'd likely pick her.

'Boom Boom Pow' and 'The Time (Dirty Bit)' are hardly vocal masterclasses, though. She's proved she can sustain a solo career (and with her solo album notched up 3 #1 singles) - without her, the BEP would never have taken off. Fact.

The majority of chart 'music' is a load of crap, not just the BEP, the sooner people realise this the better. Chart music has been in decline mode for years now and i just cringe when i put the UK Top 40 on now.
You'll get the odd band/artist in the charts who can genuinely sing but most of their voices are just far too edited and for some bizzare reason many people like that.
Listen to some proper bands who can play live.. Oasis, Kasabian, The Charlatans, The Verve etc.
Rant over
