What was the best concert you've been to ? and which singer/band would you love to see but haven't yet?

For me Pearl jam was the best concert I've been to, I saw them live twice, once in Cork in 1996 and last year in Belfast. Last years was a better concert because Eddie Vedder interacted more with the crowd and played for longer but I was standing first time round and was able to get alot closer, my seat for the Belfast concert was pretty far away :(

And I really want to get to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers but haven't yet

Pixie Lott in Brighton  It was just an absolutely amazing day.

Would also love to see Pendulum or Amy MacDonald :)

I have 4

Red Hot Chili Pepper - it was about 7-8 years ago in the Phoenix Park, my first proper concert (I'm not counting feeder), got to stand on my mates shoulders for By The Way seeing all the crowd was immense.

Arctic Monkeys - about 3 years ago maybe 4. Saw them in malahide Castle, I did a load of sneachta and it made the gig a million times better they played every song they had at the time brilliant.

Eminem - last year at Oxegen. I had a ticket to see him before but he cancelled and went to rehab. Finally got to see him and it was worth the wait, played around 30 songs and was the perfect end for a perfect weekend.

Limp Bizkit - In September i think it was. Been a fan for as long as i can remember, got in the pit for most of the songs, easily one of the best gigs i've been to.

Also there are only 3 bands I want to see and I get to see 2 of them in July :D

Blink 182, Foo Fighters, System Of A Down,.

oh.. erm.. Pink Floyd, although that's never going to happen. I would have liked to have seen Michael Jackson too, but that'll never happen now either.

Oh Biffy Clyro! I'm desperate to see them live!

Led Zeppelin at the 02 for the reunion. Haven't been to a concert since because nothing would compare. They were utterly fantastic and without their original drummer. Must have been the best live act in the world when they had Bonham sr. I mean Pearl Jam were great when I seen them back in 2000 but Led Zep were a juggernaught that night.

Who I would want to see is Dave Matthews with Tim Reynolds at one of their acoustic shows. Tim Reynolds can play the guitar like no one I've seen.

The Queen's Golden Jubilee concert in the palace grounds of Buckingham Palace in 2002 - a magical night, and fantastic to see Paul McCartney, Ozzie Osbourne, and Brian May - better still to be able to go with my two sons, who wouldn't be seen dead with me at a gig normally:joker:

Rammstein at the O2 Arena a few years back - fantastic gig, though I steered well clear of the mosh pit.

James Brown at Hammersmith Odeon in the mid 80s

Rod Stewart at Earl's Court many moons ago

The only person I always wanted to see but never did is Elvis.

I would love to see Blind Guardian and U2 live.

Fozzy @ Southampton. (20th October 2010) I've been to 11 of their gigs but this was my favorite because Chris gave me 2 setlists during the gig, waved at me and sang right into my face. lolololol.

But, if I were to see Paul McCartney live, I'd have to change my answer :) Life=complete.

I've only ever been to one concert and that was Lady Gaga. She was bloody amazing.

The kind of sets she and props she had were just out of this world. And her singing was pitch perfect and all of it was live.

I really wanna see Rihanna in concert. I love her as well

some music fan I am...I've only been to one :(
incidently it was amazing - Scissor Sisters at the O2, 2007. Jake Shears splashed me with water. I have never felt more content whilst being splashed with water.

Oh and this guy started heckling during "Mary" because he thought it was boring, even after Jake had mentioned how personal it was to him (I believe it was a tribute to a dead friend) and the audience started telling him to **** off <3 oh and I also bumped into one of my best friends, from Dubai, there. I had no idea she would be there LOL

It was just fantastic - we were so close to the front, we sat down and ate pizza + drank beer beforehand whilst Amadou and Miriam did supporting duties, and the songs...amazing.

Ashamed to say this but i've never been to a concert, my problem is that next to none of my mates like the music i'm into, i was gonna see The Enemy ages ago but everyone ended up pulling out and was going to go to T in the Park this year but wasn't liking the sound of the headliners.. Foo Fighters and Blink 182 and i didn't want to risk buying a weekend camping ticket for there to be no one i liked... couple of days after i found out Arctic Monkeys were the final headliners, was gutted i didn't get a ticket!

But not sure if i should really be going to music concerts myself yet..?

My verdict on AM is:

1st album - Brilliant
2nd album - Not as good as the 1st, still pretty good though
3rd album - bit of a let down for me, it wasn't awful but it was nothing special and just a bit dull

They're bringing out a 4th album at some point in 2011 so i'll be buying it for sure!

My best concert was You Me At Six last year in Wolverhampton:
i waited outside for 7 hours! i got right to the barrier, and was there for the whole gig.
it was just amazing, the support acts were amazing! the whole night was just amazing tbh, if i could relive it i would.

and atm i really want to go see Pierce The Veil and A Day To Remember.

Oh look a copied and pasted blog

5th of July 2009 in Wembley Stadium,London on The Circus Tour.

This not being just my fav TT concert, but my fav concert ever and the best day of my life.
It was the queuing for hours, sunbathing outside Wembley, nattering to Thatters.
Running down the Wembley steps and seeing the entire front row of main stage empty.
Being up at the front row barrier on the last night
The atmosphere
The boys banter and energy
The goodbye chat
Jason wiggling his hips at us
Doing the Relight arms over the Wembley barrier
Doing all the dance moves and seeing the whole crowd do the same thing
The Never Forget arms, with the boys crew coming into the gap between barrier and stage to join in
Howard crying and setting the rest of us off
Singing Rule the World for the last time
Being drowned by ticker tape with Mark Owen so close singing my fav bit of Said It All,looking up,seeing nothing but ticker tape and trying to catch loads
The boys legging it down the runway during Hold Up A Light
Jay randomly wearing sunglasses for the unicycle and us all shouting JAY JAY JAY really loud when he nearly fell off
Gary going ‘I hope you brought your sleeping bags’ before his little medley
Mark waving at me!
Utter brilliance. I loved every second.

I can't imagine seeing anyone but Take That,I'd love to see them as four again though. I'm looking forward to seeing them in summer but it just won't be the same.

Seeing Diana for the 7th time in Glasgow in May was the best concert ever for me. The fact we waited for like nine hours in a queue outside the venue just to be at the front row was completely worth it, and it made me kinda emotional to think how far she's come since she auditioned for the X Factor. Oh and the fact we met her and got pics and stuff was even better <3

Daft Punk - 2007.

Just phenomenal. I cried. It was very intense to see one of my favourite band (and artists). They were unbelievable and made me realize they are unbeatable.
