See here's the problem with American Awards,

The 'People's Choice Awards' Novo posted a few weeks back, consisted of Disney Channel *****s and little wanna-bes and predictable winners.

This, Is full of old dull bints who deserve the awards and have worked hard for them. But do I care? Meh.

All I can say is,

Roll on The NTAs
Only 2 more weeks now :D

Locke.

If Natalie Portman doesn't win then it's wrong. By far the best actor/actress in a film this year.

Callum

I'd like her to - she's actually quite an interesting character...but I hate Kurt's. It's so cliché, the only thing it's got going for it is the typical "overcoming prejudice" shtick...and it's repeated so often.

Wow at the Glee awards though, happy for them because I'm a big fan of the show but I do feel that they didn't have much competition this year and that's why it's doing so well.

of the main awards the only one I think is ridiculous is best score

Hans Zimmer score for Inception should have won hands down

Social Network had good score but the best music in the film was a cover of In the Hall of the Mountain King, no matter how good a cover it not technically ORIGINAL and the award is best ORIGINAL score

Callum
17-01-2011, 05:49 PM
I agree in regards to Hans Zimmer winning. The Inception score was brilliant and gave me chills at one point in the film, not many film scores can leave that effect on me.

Shaun
18-01-2011, 10:05 AM
I think the HFP probably avoided Inception on purpose so as to avoid pandering to the obvious + mainstream
