Yes.
Edit: Actually, its not too 'long', its a fitting gap to release a new album after, imo anyway. :)

Lily will make another album at some point, sure of it, I hope!

anyway - Kate Bush's done nothing since 2004. Bowie since 2003 :(

oh, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are taking a looong time - nothing since 2006? And the White Stripes (2007 - **** off with your bloody sideprojects, Jack White, no1curr about the Raconteurs or Dead Weather)

I doubt Lily's retirement will last long. She has to pay the bills.

Oh and Amy Winehouse's + The Strokes' returns this year are long overdue.

Lily allen said she wasn't making another album for the foreseeable future because she was focusing on her fashion label thing, that doesn't mean she won't again, she probably will :p

The rest were jokes too, right?

Calvin Harris, I'd like to hear more from the lad. He has a good sound to him.

Basshunter, I know he's hated on here but I think being on Big Brother made him abit self conscious about his music, because George Lamb and the other housemates kept making fun of him for it.
Hence why in Summer, He completely changed his sound and it worked REALLY well because Saturday, his last single, was amazing. I want to hear more from that kind of sound.

Eliza Doolittle, has an album coming out but it's just a 'deluxe' one from her last one.. I mean I want her to hurry up with a brand new album.

Pendulum, I just want to hear more music from them. They're fantastic.

And Eric Prydz, Very under rated DJ.
I don't even know if he still releases music or not? It's a shame :(

Basshunter didn't change his sound. The record company he works for did. He is a corporate cock sucking Sweed who has allowed his previous cliched form of hard dance music to become slowly diluted into teenage girl pop. He didn't change his sound to suit himself or please people. He hates it. He moaned about it constantly on Celebrity Big Brother and talked about how he kept his old stuff in a folder called 'The Real Me'.

Your entitled to your opinion of course but the guy is just taking triteness to another level. He can't sing, he is not an exceptionally good DJ and plenty of his earlier lead patterns came from the sample stuff that actually comes bundled with the digital audio workstation he uses. That's why his peers despise him as a cheap, unimaginative douche.

It's like listening to a Eurotrash Danny Dyer **** you in the ****ing ears.

I don't understand how anyone can be that impatient for a new Florence album, she only did a rerelease of Lungs a few months ago with some new music, give the girl some time.

As for wanting another Eliza Doolittle album only months after her debut, it just shows what the internet has done to people's attention spans.

Plenty of it is available. Now You're Gone wasn't his first album, you know. Look it up on Wiki and you will probably get the titles. There are at least two or three albums before that and it's a lot heavier and less on the naff vocals. I'm not into hard dance as a rule of thumb but if it's your thing then go for it.

Have to echo Girls Aloud. Even though Xenomania's more 'adult', 'credible' stuff on the later two albums didn't get the same chart success I would love to see them continue on that route ... not that they can go back.

Untouchable was clearly the magnum opus of their career. How bizarre that is given it's charting history.

We can only hope.

I would like another Siobhan Donaghy album because her last one was in 2007; I'd like to hear a Mutya Buena follow up (her first album was 2007) because featuring on the odd track every other year just isn't enough. Snow Patrol need to hurry up with a new album too. I don't care much for any other modern music so yeah, that's my lot. All my other favourites released some stuff in 2010.
