Me and some friends won a trip to some indoor skiing place.

It was cold and boring, we left after about an hour, the people who organised it were pissed we didn't like it. :L

Yes, Art Competitions, Acting Awards and Creative Writing Contests.

Prizes for Art included Certificates, Art Supplies, Mini Cups, Vouchers.

Each for different Art Competitions.

Prizes for Acting included Certificates really, quite a few for like Best Actor of 2008 in our Acting School, and then I won a few others in the Drama Club at school.
I'm more proud of the one for Acting School though, Because there was alot of kids there who could actually act, where as in Drama Club it was full of wanna-be's who just wanted to be in High School Musical or 90210.

I also have a certificate, well it's more of a invitation really but I kept it? If you get me, but it was an invite sent to me from the BBC to audition for a film they were making, because they sent this woman to the back of a theatre I was performing in and she liked me.

And yeah, the Creative Writing things resulted in me getting stories published in Newspapers, Magazines and Books.

Also I won a wooden spoon in primary school :bored:

It was actually pathetic they did it everyweek in assembly and they'd give out a wooden spoon painted gold to whoever had been best behaved at dinner time and the next week they got their dinner first. :L

I used to do online competitions quite a lot and on average about 5 or 6 prizes would arrive each week.

Most were little things like DVDs, iPod Nanos, 3 or 4 Nintendo DSs, that sort of range.

The more significant ones which I obviously remember most were:
- A trip for 2 to Barcelona
- A Vespa Scooter
- A Dell XPS M1730 Laptop.

BUT I used to cheat to improve my chances........I'd have 17 aliases including my brother's cats who would enter regularly. I was able to do this at the time as had dial-up so a dynamic IP, and they couldn't spot it was multiple entries from the same computer. I also used multiple addresses with only 3 or 4 entrants at each address.

It's not even funny, they made you go to the front of the hall and have a picture took infront of everyone with this golden spoon. It was so embarrassing. :(

I still have it somewhere. :L

Did you have to eat your dinner with your golden plated spoon?

That's the worse prize I've ever heard of. You get to taste the poison that is school meals first, it's as if they want you to die a special person. :joker:

I would feel like such a dick head if I got that.

It's like, they take you out of the line and praid you up to the dinner ladies infront of everybody.

'Okay Timmy, You get your mash potatoes first because you've been a good boy!'

And everyone else is just like staring :bored: patiently waiting to kick you in the balls afterwards.

Jordan, Did you feel like smug and cool about getting it at the time? Or were you just like :bored: 'I'ma shove this wooden spoon, badly coated in Yellow Paint, up your ******ing arse teacher!'

School Dinners are so underrated nowadays.

Everyone is like 'they're bollocks and taste like crap.'
I bet they did like in the 90s and 80s and so on, but they're pretty sweet now.
I can remember years ago in Primary School it was a disgrace.

But in Secondary School there's alot more variety and it taste quite cool.

It's the same as hospital food. Back in my day they sucked big time. Went to see a good friend having their meal for tea and thought they were in BUPA.

It was one of the best meals I've seen.

All I had in school was rice pudding or semelina with about 5 chocolate buttons and soggy chips with 2 small sausages. I bet the EU doesn't allow that now.

They used to have a special table set up and you could choose a friend and a teacher to sit with you and one of the fat dinner ladies would bring your food over to you. :L

+ No i felt like a dick, I remember sitting there like 'not me, not me' then my name is called out. :bored:

They used to have it on a pillow and everything and the teacher would like bow down and present it to you. LOL

.....It was more like torture thinking back. :bawling:
