For me it's The Wonder Years.

SocietyIsRuined
16-01-2011, 10:53 PM
It's a tough choice. It's out of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, The Young Ones and Fawlty Towers.

I would choose CYE because it's so well written but then again Fawlty Towers is so well written too.

Seriously Brass Eye, The Day Today and Alan Partridge are some of the best Britsh comedy of all time. Brass Eye and The Day Today are one of a kind, you can't do wrong in ordering them.

The Young Ones has aged badly but at the time it was completely fresh and like nothing seen before. I still say that The Comic Strip presents had better episodes than both The Young Ones and Bottom. Mr Jolly Lives Next Door is a masterpiece and one of the greatest comedy episodes of all time.

The Wire - Greatest TV Show ever FACT

If You have not seen it i highly recommend you watch it.

I got hooked when it first started in the States, and i never looked back.

If you appreciate a well written show, this is for you. There are so many great characters it is impossible to choose.

Idris Elba who plays John Luther in The BBC's Luther has a great part as Baltimore Drug Kingpin Stringer Bell.

One of the reasons i love it is, characters you would not expect to are killed off. As would be in real life no one is safe in the criminal world. Just because your a popular main character means nothing in this show.

Don't think anything will ever touch Lost or 24 for me because I watched them constantly as I was growing up.

But Game of Thrones is up there, and judging from the first 4 episodes, Person of Interest is going to be amazing aswell.

The Unit was really good too, but if it had just focussed on the actual Unit and had the wives as minor characters instead of supporting, it would have been a lot better than it actually was.
