They go well with a Quality Pizza Express Spicey Beef pizza
which you put Olive oil on before cooking in the Oven for 12mins

There is nothing to beat home made freshly cut chips. All other forms are poor imitations.

I agree

But these are Beer Battered
and I am not doing that.

They are not mean't to take over.

I have 2 HiTech Air fryers Phillips and a Tefal
so real chips cooked in a small anount of olive oil
are bliss.

But I like to have everything that is out there.
Its good to have a change.

The Phillips Air fryer does them in 9mins
and it has a Divider- and you can pull that out.
You need to shake them half way through.
It turns off at the end of the timer.
And they stay hot inside.

The Tefal takes a bit longer
and after that timer beeps it carrys on cooking.
The Tefal - you do not need to shake them
as it has a Spindle that turns them in a circle.

Both units are good.

I use the Phillips more
as it is faster.
And seems more compact heating.

the trick is Elements like a oven
then a fan Blows Hot Air.

Frozen chips need No Oil at all
that is why they are Hi Tech.

And real chips in both units just need a spoon
of olive oil.

Argos had the phillips on sale
so I checked Amazon and they matched the £132 price

Isn't 'real' batter supposed to be made with beer anyway? I don't think you actually taste it. It just makes the batter fluffy

On these chips its not like fish batter.

The Chips are Great
and the coating is real beer.
