is it Ricky disgrace or Ricky gervais ?

Ricky is fast and on the ball,
but is this now the fall.
in front of thousands, Ricky made a mockery,
the response from the crowd was as still as the table crockery.
insult after insult, OMG was the fury,
everything caught and filmed, leaves a growing jury.
but everyone talking, his name is in glitter,
and that's why Ricky gervais wont be bitter.
his profile will raise, along with searches on line,
so from doing something tasteless, he will shine.
what would be better is a fall from grace,
and if everyone viewed it that "this is unacceptable Ricky gervais ".

good afternoon everyone on tibb message board. the joe was watching the news last night and OMG was i shocked with what i saw lol i have never liked or respected ricky for his work and this has put me more against him.

i just woundered did you think his speah at the awards done hime the world of good or or done him no favours at all can not wait to see the findings later.

I watched them live and thought he was very funny. Also I think it will boost his profile in Hollywood. Most of the stars seemed to really enjoy his humour.

I used to think he was good.......but he seems to be so full of his own self-importance/worth these days. That show on Sky One "An idiot Abroad" where they 'sent' Karl Pinkington to various places to be the buttend of Gervais' jokes was so goddam dire.

He was doing what he does best, sending up the establishment, in this case the "up themselves" hollywood scene. If they haven't got a sense of humour that's their problem. I hope Gervais sues the guy who threatened to kill him.

I didn't watch the awards but I just watched a youtube video of the highlights of his jokes. I thought he was hilarious, serious lack of sense of humour by some people I think!

I never liked him, I cant stand the man (although some of the jokes were good, hopefully he will just go off into obscurity)

I don't like his comedy anymore - indeed I defy anyone to get five miuntes through Science, where the up his bum prat just whales on people for no particular reason constantly - but I found his Golden Globe stuff funny and a good kick up the arse for Hollywood on their B.S. beliefs.

It goes to show how **** and forgettable their award shows are when this is what we are talking about.

I saw the youtube highlights too and though it he was funny. I agree, some are lacking in the humour stakes in big old Hollywood. Take themselves all too seriously at times.

I thought he was funny but he crossed the line a fair few times during the show and I can see why he's not been invited back to host next year.

I didn't watch all of it but what I saw he was brilliant! Hollywood needs people like him to bring them back to earth! I just didn't like him making fun of my johnny depp though. :(

I did not feel comfortable some of his speeches, and I was worried how those stars were reacting. Surprisingly none of them seemed to be mind.

Well well,,,,,,,,,,,,ok.
