Gary Barlow has said that he does not see Robbie Williams as a permanent addition to Take That.

The band had reunited with Robbie to record Progress, the biggest-selling album of last year in the UK.

Appearing on BBC Radio 2 this morning, Barlow stated: "I think even moving forward, I know we’re back with Rob right now, but we still see our future as a four-piece band.

"We see Take That as a four-piece band in general."

All five members will promote the band's new single, 'Kidz', released on February 28.

Robbie's pretty content there though isn't he? :conf2:

I think if he did leave they'd probably break up again

They wouldn't break up,the guys and Gary especially said they saw rejoining with Robbie as more of a side project. But it's nice to hear since the reunion.

Would be a bit stupid to keep changing things. Just keep as it is now...they've all made up and they all seem happy. Just leave it like that.

He did something to a band 15 years ago that she didn't really know about then and that in no way effected her

It was always my understanding that the Take That And Robbie thing was for one album and one tour all along.

Robbie has a recording career - why would he go back to be just a boyband member again.? Permanently

They never said it was permanent.

And Niamh, yeah a load of reasons but I tried to like him and realised I just can't. I think Take That are so much better as a 4 piece. Although if he leaves after the tour I won't dislike him anywhere near as much as I used to.

Take That can go back to being a decent 4 member band

Robbie can go back to rehab.

I do like Robbie, he was always my favourite originally but the one thing I did find since he came back is that his voice tends to over power all the others which is not necessarily a good thing as I think it completely changes their sound and Gary has such a lovely voice, it's a shame it's drowned out.

Hope he pisses off so TT can get on with it as a 4-piece.

Yeah Gary is barely on the new record.

If Robbie goes back to being solo, everyone can have their voice heard.

If you add a new member to any band it takes a while to get their sound together; that's why replacing members or in the case of Take That, adding one that previously departed, always detracts (sometimes only to begin with) from the quality compared to their previous work.

I've known this from about May last year...?

It's a shame too, they're far better with Robbie and clearly more of a bigger deal with alot more people than just their big fans.

The Flood was amazing, And ALOT of Lads who don't usually like them, even worshipped that song before Christmas.

Robbie being in Take That is the best thing to of happened to them, him leaving again will just ruin it.

Why be so Ignorant?

Laura's thread is 10 Times more interesting than any bollocks you and your Sidekick produce on a daily basis.

They're not that much bigger at all. The Circus sold just as much as Progress,it sold a million quicker. And the tour might be a bit bigger but I have no doubt they would have sold all those tickets without him, well most of them anyways.

Most of the fans I know are getting a bit fed up with Robbie hogging all the limelight.

well I never thought it would be permanent. Can't believe anybody thought it would be.

Obviously he would want to still have his solo career. Truth is, they don't need each other. Both are capable of selling millions of albums and tickets.

Robbie could make more money doing a solo tour; he sells as many tickets and doesn't have to split it 5 ways.

as i said on twitter its old news was always gonna be 1 year for 1 album/1 tour so its not a case of future being uncertain if anything its more certain than what it was when there was all the will he rejoin or not.
i love them together & have done for far too many years but as a robbie fan they are better as a solo & 4 piece band

GOOD!! I absolutely flove them as a 4!! Everytime I hear patience and their other hits as a four piece it breaks my heart to hear flood, flooded with robbies voice. I loved them before as a five piece but as a 4 they're magnificent. Already, robbie not turning up to the carribean gig and his messing up the sexy photoshoots with his antic is unnaceptable! Get rid of him!! :cloud:

A spokesman for Take That said: "They have new single 'Kidz' out on February 13 and they are very happy continuing to promote their current album. They are even writing new material as a five-piece."
