I just think Colton is over-rated Marc. He didn't make it through last year and I felt they picked him just for his type, they always seem to try and get contestants so theres someone for everyone, just feels like he's a square peg in a round hole. Not Hollie's best week, still good though. Skylar was alright, nothing different though and I can't see any improvement in her performances. Both put against Jessica in their trio song really puts Jessica miles ahead of them both.

DeAndre - I Like It; good song for him, but it wasn't very standout
Elise - I Want To Know What Love Is; good song for her, started off a little poor but when it got to the chorus it was great, just hoping it is wasn't too much of a well known song for the audience not to prefer it over the original
Colton - Time After Time; not bad, but nothing special
Duet, Hollie & DeAndre - I'm So Excited; pretty good! I like their voices together
Duet, Jessica & Joshua - I Knew You Were Waiting; amazing song! I love Jessica's voice and they both do well together (possibly both in the final 3 this year)
Jessica - How Will I Know; perfect for her song, but it was pretty same'sie, big note, followed by loads of verbrato, another big note. Quite loud, would like to hear her song a soft song cos that's how I prefer her voice
Hollie - Flashdance...What A Feeling; another ballad, but a little more up tempo, wasn't that great and her voice is nothing compared to Jessicas, might as well cut the dead weight now
Joshua - If You Don't Know Me By Now; great song, good performance, but I'm personally going off his shouty annoying notes, but it was good enough to be deemed 'great' by some people
Skylar - Wind Beneath My Wings; country twang, her voice was off for a lot of it. The chorus' saved her
Duet, Elise & Phillip - Stop Draggin' My Heart Out; they should have sex on stage, they're voices together; pure sex (pretty sure Elise out powered Phillip)

I have loved nearly every performance tonight.

Hollie and Joshua's first songs were very moving and Jessica nailed Steal Away. Loved it. The guys Maroon 5 duet was outstanding, the girls did a reasonable job, but didn't blend well.

The group song from Rock of Ages was good too, showed off individual styles. Didn't like the chorus when the guys sang waiting for a girl and the girls sang waiting for a guy. Sounded daft.

Phillips second song was better than some he's done. Hollie struggled.

Lee and Phillip are from the same mould, and neither should have won/win it. I loved Crystal, she had such a beautiful voice.

I'm just hoping like mad that Jessica will beat him somehow, if she delivers more killer performances she could do it, Joshua's fanbase is more likely to switch to her than to PP I think.

I would buy/download music by both Joshua and Jess, but not Phillip, he's really nothing special. Don't like to rubbish the guy, he can sing, and he's ok to listen to, but there's nothing to stun you is there?
