View Full Version : What Is Your Favourite Pendulum Song?

Patrick
22-01-2011, 07:36 PM
I honestly don't know if anyone else on here other than me and The Harbinger likes this band, I hope so though but I'm making this thread just to see if anyone else does like them?

They're like The Prodigy only... well, better?

Amazing though.
Although I got about 3 of their Albums yesterday in HMV and It seems their singles are 10 Times better than the songs they didn't release as singles?

But anyway here's a few songs in order of the release:

Granite

fc_SghUVYTk

Propane Nightmares

WQ-cYYO3Jsg

The Other Side

Mgoy4S7fFmc

Showdown

BZLYwKvuB0Q

Water Colour

D-8LbiW8wlo

My favourite was always Granite because it was their first song and the first I heard but I really love Showdown and The Other Side too, quite hard to pick.

What's your favourite?

[Hopes there's more fans]

Hmmm, this is difficult. Lemme think for a second.

Pendulum are alright. I use to listen to them when they were played on Kerrang a lot... I don't really listen to the radio any more though. I think my favourites are Propane Nightmares, Showdown, and Granite. Well, I haven't heard much off Immersion anyway, only Watercolour I think, and I didn't really like that.

Maia

Showdown for me - but I also love Propane Nightmares, Blood Sugar, Watercolour and Crush :)

Why do idiots keep comparing the two? Because both happen to make Electronic music? They are not the same genre. They are not even in the same ****ing ballpark. The Prodigy manage to make songs that actually sound different. They manage to make songs that break the charts without completely selling out to the candy ravers who fill tents at lager sponsered trash festivals.

Pendulum suck donkey balls. And if you are going to make a poll at least include their best singles. Not the ones you know since the mainstream handed them to you on a silver platter.

I included the songs they released by going to Wikipedia and onto Granite and then flicking through their singles after Granite.

I do know alot of their songs but the ones I included on the poll was from Wikipedia.

Wikipedia lists all their singles. You didn't 'list the Wikipedia singles', you picked a certain point for some bizarre reason and listed all the ones from there.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Granite_(song)

Under the Album Art on the right hand side, it shows what single was released next, Propane Nightmares...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propane_Nightmares

Then that shows The Other Side was released after that,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Other_Side_(Pendulum_song)

This Wiki Page shows us Showdown was released in 2009, and so on...

How are my wrong? I said Wikipedia lists all Pendulum singles and you only listed some of them. You then prepared to give a long winded explanation that explained how ... wait for it! ... you only listed some of them.

What did you prove me wrong on? I do hope you reply. To say I'm intrigued at this stage would be an understatement, considering you put your foot in your mouth about once every twenty minutes on this forum.

Sentences don't usually start with a * and end in an 'i' where I come from, but you don't hear me complaining.

The Prodigy are over rated, people obviously prefer them because they've been around longer which is a sh*te reason to love someone just because they made music first.

No it's just the fact that you have no clue what you are talking about. I'm not saying The Prodigy are the greatest thing since sliced bread but you have probably never listened to a Prodigy album. You then base your arguments on bizarre things like 'Pendulum are getting better with each single' [despite most of anyone on Planet Earth disagreeing and despite most of Pendulum's original fanbase having migrated a long time ago] and 'people only prefer The Prodigy because they have been around longer'.

... what do you expect? Nobody went that crazy until you started making those lurid arguments. They just all happened to post their thoughts on who was the best ... considering you were the one who felt the need to compare them in your opening post.

Et Voila.
