Matt to perform at the NTA's

X Factor winner Matt Cardle will perform at this year's National Television Awards, it has been announced.

The official NTAs website published the news this afternoon, confirming that the 'When We Collide' singer would be "giving a very special performance".

In the blog post, it added: "We can't tell you too much right now, apart from that it will be a performance you will not want to miss!"

Last year's ceremony featured Jedward singing alongside Vanilla Ice.

The awards will be broadcast live on Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV1.
