a good film - but to many awards. (All the other films were not good?)
Had to use some final Public funding to be made.

"Not bad for a film that was shot on a modest £8m production budget. Not bad for a picture that was passed over by both Film4 and the BBC and was eventually seeded as the result of a £1,022,000 investment from the UK Film Council."

It was a fairly boring ceremony, not that it's usually a rollercoaster of excitement but most of the winners were predictable and a lot of them were fairly unjust.
