Most United fans knew this a couple of weeks ago but he wants to spend more time with his family:). Great career with Ajax, Juventus and Fulham then lastly us, class goalkeeper and an inspiration for younger players but he's going to be a tough one for Fergie to replace!

Heard about that - what a career though, he must be one of the all-time greats.

Going to have to spend a big amount to draw in a top class keeper to replace him, what you've got at the minute as back ups aren't good enough.
Still surprised you let Ben Foster go.

Yeah I liked Foster but he was getting increasing frustrated with not getting first team football and lets face it he was never going to be first choice over Edwin:D.
I'm predicting we'll go for Manuel Neuer.

McGregor the best Keeper in Britain apart from Reina and Cech.. United would be mad not to put a bid in for him in the summer

He's better than Craig Gordon:p.

I'd say Gordon is better, i've never saw McGregor keep Scotland in some games the way Gordon has. And not just that all the Edinburgh derby victories we were denied in the past cause of Gordon's heroics in goals.:(
McGregor has only played for Scotland 7 or 8 times.. and Gordon hasn't won **** anywhere.. McGregor has won it all in Scotland and helped Rangers in their Uefa cup run in 2008 possibly making the greatest save i've ever seen any keeper make against Bremen
