I don't have anything to do with Windows
No one ******ing likes Macs.
Except recording artists and filmmakers of course. Who would absoloutely laugh you out of the building at the thought of Windows being compotent at anything other than doing a ****ing spreadsheet.
Windows is dying. The market is going the way of the mac. It's started at the top and it's working it's way down. Nobody producing any piece of media for mainstream consumption wants to touch a windows.

Virtually all commercial movies are edited and rendered on Final Cut Pro on Mac platforms. Virtually all commercial studio albums are recorded on Pro Tools and Logic on Mac platforms. Macs are the dominant force in both industrys. This is a fact. I have hands on experience in one of those fields.
But keep pretending you know what you are talking about. Mac is THE media platform. Nobody is making a blockbuster or crafting an album on Windows.

Macs are also incredibly intuitive. The trackpad I have on my MacBook has support for multitouch gestures which means I can pinch to zoom like on the iPhone and if I want to go backwards and forwards between pages in Safari I just swipe 3 fingers back across the trackpad. Its so simple. I couldn't live without it.
Also Macs are stupidly fast in comparison to Windows mine takes about 25 seconds to be FULLY ready to use. I don't have to feck around waiting for any antivirus or crappy pre-loaded software to load up. Shutting down is even faster, takes only 3 seconds. Beat that Windows.
I could say a lot more but I'll spare you all for now.

Said it once, I'll say it again.
You could spend £1000 on a PC and a year down the line it'll be running at a snail's pace.
Spend £1000 on a mac, and you'll have a computer that will seem brand new for over three years. Mine still does, and I got it in Jan 2008. Although I'm getting a new macbook pro in a few months because I like the design over the plastic macbooks.

Yeah but the thing is, how many times have you had to clear out the bloody thing?
In the 8 months I've had my Mac, its been incredibly fast and hasn't slowed down a single bit. Oh and I haven't had to clear it out or delete anything or feck about with registry errors. Apple mean it when they say everything 'just works'.
