The House of Glass is originally a twist that happened on the 9th season of BBB.
Back then, four potential housemates were confined in a House of Glass in the middle of a shopping mall in Rio de Janeiro. They stayed there for a couple of days until the public decided which two housemates would move to the Big Brother house and the two who received the least amount of votes were "evicted".
This is the House of Glass of BB9:

This time the four evictees of this season are going to live there for 3 or 4 days and the public will again decide which 2 will move to the main house.

Do you think this is a good idea? Would you like a twist like that on BBUK?

They are blindfolded and guided to the mall's toilet by securities.

Id love to see they doing it just there in front of everybody...:joker:

:laugh2: how bizarre, you'd think they would install a portaloo in a room that was blacked out. I like the idea though, would actually show the peoples reactions to favourites and the likes,...

I was in Rio when that happened, and the housemates start acting like monkeys when u get near them, they are so desperate for your vote, It would be sad if It wasnt hilarious

Well at least something's original they copy the american version too much with twists

can the people watching them can hear what is going on in there and can the hgs in there hear the outside world?

They cannot hear the outside world, we can hear through headphones and there's live feed.

Italy did it (before I think) with a "bubble" in the city centre - but ultimately had to abandon it as the "bubble" kept getting attacked.

A brilliant twist though - and the toilet etc. was at the back in a private section (with some kind of diary room too).
