HICKEY doesn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton has just signed a whopping £300,000 deal to write her autobiography.
Century, part of the Random House group, beat off competition from two other publishing houses by sending the "fake" celebrity a giant wedding cake to celebrate her recent engagement to fellow Big Brother housemate, Preston.
Giggly Chantelle is a mere 22.

Thats really cool
Not many celebs have done as much as she has in 5 months
To be honest, I doubt itll be an autobiography more of a 'whats happened so far part 1 thing' or 'the big brother story'
Im right behind ya bbe
I can't understand people writing their autobiography at such a young age. What's the point in that? I mean at the age of 22, surely Chantelle must be planning on doing lots of other things in her life? Although, I guess it could be a kind of 'My Big Brother Experience' thing.
Still, good luck to Chantelle. Without being cruel, people probably won't be interested in her in 20 years time, so she might as well make the most of it while she can - can't knock her for that!

I doubt very much it will be her life story. More likely to be her experiences since winning CBB in January. Probably be out in time for Christmas and the new series of CBB.
EDIT:
"The book is expected to concentrate on her time since winning the Channel Four show in January".

KATIE Price has two. Jade Goody has one. Coleen McLoughlin is about to do one. We speak of autobiographies.
So much do our tireless celebs pack into their amazing lives that they write their life’s story while still in youth’s first flush.
And so we read with little surprise that Chantelle is to pen her apologia.
The winner of Celebrity Big Brother has signed a £300,000 deal to write her life’s story. Not bad going for a 22-year-old.
The Mail says that there was fierce competition to bag Chantelle’s airy signature.
The deal was only sealed when Century, part of Random House, sent Chantelle a huge wedding cake to celebrate her engagement to Preston.
Chantelle was touched, and signed on the dotted line, or got a ghost writer to do it for her...

I agree with you on this I mean Chantelle is a really nice girl but she's so young to be putting out a book out......maybe she should leave it a few years to see if see is still famous.....

Oh my God! Chantelle to release autobiography
Chantelle Houghton is to release an autobiography, barely months after shooting to fame by winning Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother.
Chantelle was the first non-celebrity to feature in the show, beating ten famous personalities to scoop the prize.
Since then, Chantelle has presented E4’s Chantelle: Living the Dream and is now hosting a new show, Chantelle’s Dream Dates.
The autobiography, entitled 'Living the Dream', will be published in hardback by Century this October.
In the book, Chantelle will talk about her journey “from being a quiet, sweet natured young girl who was bullied at school to Britain’s most talked about celebrity”.
Chantelle will also reveal what really went on in the house and how she fell in love with her fiancée, Ordinary Boys lead singer Preston.
“Oh my God, I never thought I’d have my own book,” says Chantelle. “But as I’ve learnt, if you want something bad enough – and you believe in it, it really is possible to live the dream.”
“I can’t wait to get out and meet the fans in October.”
