I would really like the series to be longer. Not as long as Germany did (1 year) but around about 120 days. May to September would be good. 13 May to 10 September or 17 weeks 1 day.

But with Channel Five the least popular main channels in the UK it might not work. Starting with 3 million and ending with around about 2 million. Probably averaging 1.40m.

10 week series!

I would love a longer series but a lot of people say it "drags on".

Start off with a 10 week series on Channel 5. If it's all successful then the next year they should expand the length of time!

The Celeb Version should be no longer than 4 weeks too. Preferably just a 3 week series though!

None of the 13 week series held up for the entire duration so stretching it further will only make it worse.

The reason they became obsessed with gimmicks was because of thinking of ways to add spice every few weeks. 10/11 weeks should be the limit.

BB11 had a nice 11 week run (even though I could actually have enjoyed that series if it were a 13 week one) so it'd be nice if BB12 would be 11 weeks also. Not too long, not too short

I know everyone would love to hear 'Day 100' but it'd be nice to have the series about 10 weeks.

I would like a 9 week series does anybody remember 5's "Back to Reality" show it only ran for three weeks and I quite enjoyed it I'd expect the format for BB on 5 would be the same this time round.

20 weeks.
30 housemates.
Allow physical fights.
Unlimited alcohol.
Big ass parties.
No more boring weekly tasks. Introduce "Dilemmas".
Bring secret missions back.
More competition, face to face nominations, more game playing.
Cruel/evil/nasty twists.

Now that'd be an amazing comeback

I think you have probably nailed it with 120 days, they have already said longer than past series. Five's situation is different, they need to get a long term series out of it to be able to afford to do it. It needs to be like a Hollyoaks for them, but real.

People who are saying it drags on as it is .. very true. But that was in the past format - this will probably be different. Less intense. They will need a steady flow of people in and out to stop the boredom.

11 weeks is ideal - but it could stretch to 100 days (14 weeks) as long as they make the tweaks to the format to sustain it.

With BB7+ they never did - and having the first week eviction and six or seven in the final week didn't help, meaning far too many HMs. Without the first week eviction and with just 4 in the final that would mean 12 evictions - so no more than 16 HMs (plus replacements for quitters) needed.
