I always check the plug sockets to see if they are all off before I go to bed. I check about 5 times to know for certain. If I walk into a room and a plug socket is in and on without any use I switch it off.

I bite my nails.
I feel weird using a computer or a laptop without headphones and if there are no headphones I have to mute it.
I can't think of any more. D:

Nope ;) Well I hope not! It started off years ago when I accidently left a light on. Now I check at least 5 times if I have turned off a light and then the plug socket habit came into it as well :S No use being on if it's not in use. Except for charging something. I don't charge things overnight though because most things take no more than 2 hours to charge.

let's see.
curtains have to be completely shut when i sleep, not even a gap
bedroom door has to be open a tiny bit at all time, never shut
tv volume an even number
whenever i eat something, i have to eat an even number of them, eg. i couldn't eat 3 slices of bread, it would have to be 2 or 4
i wash my hands all the time, and i have anti bacterial gel sitting by my comp
if i typo something when i type i always delete the whole line of what i typed instead of just the word
all the stuff on my comp has to be named right, and named all the same way, like music and stuff
i hate when stuff is not straight, like if i glue something on paper i make sure it's perfectly lined up with the same distance apart from each side
when i'm writing if it doesn't look nice then i start again, over and over
-has way more, but cbf to list-

I've always chewed my fingernails. It leaves my nails pretty jagged. I can't finger my boyfriend.
I unplug every single thing in my house before going to bed apart from my fridge and freezer.
I'm funny at work about how staples are used.. If somebody else has stapled anything together in my abscence, I usually remove the staple and do it my way
I hate being late so much that I usualyy have my coat on at least haf an hour before I'm due to leave.. If flying, I'm always about an hour or two early!

I am a compulsive list maker - I like to be completely organised and have a "To Do" list I compile every Sunday for the coming week from which I do not deviate. It prevents procrastination and encourages me to tackle chores/situations/problems I might prefer to ignore! I meticulously plan everything, always allow an extra half hour for any appointment or journey, and cannot abide people who are consistently late or unreliable.
I have already signed and sealed my will, together with a meticulous funeral plan, (music, poems, and other directions), a funeral plot bought and paid for, all my affairs are in order, and all my insurances up to date. If I popped my clogs tomorrow my family will not be unnecessarily burdened. Even after I'm dead I will still be completely organised:laugh:

I'm always moving my mouse to make sure it's sitting perfectly when not in use.
There is certain foods I wont allow to touch on a plate.
I have to have everything sitting perfectly such as Salt and Pepper etc
I get annoyed if my coat zip isn't all the way up, all the time even if it's warm.
I always NEED to sit on the window side of a Bus.
On Grand Theft Auto IV or Mafia II I get really annoyed and literally feel like awkward if someone crashes into my car even a tiny bit and there's a cracked window or something, I have to drive somewhere to get it fixed even if it's just tiny.
The Water Taps always have to be like pulled all the way round so they're hard to turn back on.
My ring always has to face upwards, I know because it says 'Ben Sherman' on the top, when it's not facing upwards I get really upset.
Bedroom door ALWAYS has to be closed. I think my mum thinks I'm smoking weed or wanking with all the times I have to ensure it's closed properly.
Whenever I'm given a coin, I look at it right away to see what year it was made in. If it was made in The Noughties I seen smile and think of a Big Brother series to match that year.
TV Volume has to be on a Multiple of 2 or a number like 25, 15, 35, 85 etc
My Desktop on my computer has to be lovely all the time, icons in straight line and named properly etc
I have alot more but I can't remember.

There is certain foods I wont allow to touch on a plate.
I'm the exact opposite of this. I always mix all my food together, and try to get an equal portion of each food in each bite.
If i'm eating meatloaf with mashed potatoes and peas. Each bite must have meatloaf, potatoes and peas in equal measure..
Stephanie

i always eat each bit of my food seperately, and when i eat a burger or something i don't bite it all at once, i eat each layer.

Erm. I can't sleep without curtains/blinds being -fully- closed...
I keep asking my Biology teacher if I can re-do one of her wall displays because it looks really uneven but she keeps not so politely declining and it's irritating me. D:
I like my volume to be a multiple of 5, but I don't really check it.
Not really a compulsive person, really.

When I sit down, I have to cover my stomach. If I dont I feel all exposed.
I stand with my arms crossed or with one on my hip. If I don't I want to cry
My nails have to be clean all the time, and I hate them short
I always wash my hands and use hand gel. I don't like germs.
I wipe my keyboard with a disinfectant wipe like twice a day
When my room gets messy I want to cry. Its hardly ever messy, although recently its not been to nice cause I've been busy with school work and stuffz
I think I have a natural bitchy face, and I never realize I do it, but I sometimes give people dirty looks. I feel so bad after. (unless they deserve it, lulz)
I have this new habit of brushing my teeth like three times a day for 5 minutes
Probs a bit tmi, but if my bra/underwear/socks don't match I get angry. I couldn't wear them if they clashed, even if no one can see them.
Will think of more in a bit, Im a freak so Im sure there is loads more to come

I bite my nails and I bit the skin around my nails. :/
I have to have all the doors shut in the house, if a door is open and no-one is in that room, it annoys me. Same goes for the kitchen cupboards, they have to be shut.
If the shower isn't being used, the shower curtains MUST be pushed to one side.
When I microwave milk for a hot drink it has to be microwaved for 1 minute 50 seconds. No more, no less.
Thats all I can think of now rofl.
My tv volume in the living room has to be at 23 when im watching it.

after ive been to the bank all my notes have to face the same way (years of working in a shop) my cups, saucers, plates, glasses all have their place in the cupboard if they r out of place i cant find them. same goes with tinned stuff all has its place and all faces the right way (think sleeping with the enemy) bathroom towels need to look neat. i have 7 dogs so i need to be organised for mornings ie 8 poop bags and my poop scoop ready, hat gloves and coat ready, house keys ready, dogs coats ready, anti bark muzzles ready. probably 100s more lol

- Volumes at an even number.
- Pencil case has to be neat, if not I empty it out and put what I least use in first to most used last.
- Drawers have to be neat, mum tends to go in and dust and mess everything up so I try to avoid looking, LOL.
- School folders have to be organised, or else I have to keep checking I have all my work.
- Also IT school work has to be on my account on the school computer, memory stick and laptop.
- Have to have a sip of cold water from bathroom sink else I think Ill dehydrate over night.
- Bite nails.
- Play with right earlobe as a 'comfort'.
- Sleep on half the duvet with the other half covering me (have 1 leg out if too hot).
- iTunes has to be all right (correct music tags, cover art etc.)
- I have to make sure I play the songs I like more on an album at least one more than the songs that are meh (obviously this would occur naturally but yeah I have to do it straight away).
- When I get home from being out, I have to wet my hands.
- If I wear my necklace, the pendent bit or whatever has to face the right way, I keep checking.
- Bedroom door needs to be closed when I go to bed at night.
- On a plate, eat my least favourite foods first and save the best 'til last.
Yeah Im quite OCDic. I used to be worse when younger, there was a stage that whatever I did with my right side I had to do with my left. If I touched something I had to touch it with both hands and at an even amount of times. Brushing up something with me left side Id have to turn the other way and brush up with my right, stepping on cracks with left and right feet etc. Was awful.
Not too bad now, well, I am but these things come naturally rather than it being a chore tbh, well most of them.

This'll sound odd. It's quite hard to explain.
Sometimes I will move my feet or my legs in a weird pattern. Like, say I flick my left foot forward randomly. I then have to do my right. And then I do that again in the reverse order. I keep doing this until I lose track of which order I started in/I think "what the **** are you doing?" :p
Always 3 sprays of aftershave.
I mess my hair up if I'm nervous.
I won't pee at a urinal, and in a cubicle I aim for the sides of the toilet bowl because I hate making a noise.
When making tea I stir clockwise and then one stir counter-clockwise.
I only read in the bath.

- I drank water from a glass that had an awful soapy taste still from when it had been washed. Ever since, I always need to rinse the cup/glass several times before drinking.
- The volume has to be an even number.
- If I ever turn around the full 360 degrees (even sat on a swivel chair) I always have to turn 360 degrees back the other way like I'm unwinding myself. lol
- I always sleep with one hand under the pillow and in the fetal position.
- I pick the dry skin from my bottom lip to the point it starts bleeding. Sounds gross but I like it.
- At work, my desk has to be ordered with things in the correct place. Pen kept on the top of my keyboard, drawers locked until I need to go in them, paper etc in my trays have to be neat. I get wound up when I come in after a few days off and see someone's sat at my desk, my pen's missing, drawers unlocked etc.
Can't think of anymore.

-Same with the water and glass, just not any other drink.
I always check the plug sockets to see if they are all off before I go to bed. I check about 5 times to know for certain. If I walk into a room and a plug socket is in and on without any use I switch it off.
This is exactly the same as me, I double check the knobs on the cooker/oven to make sure they're definitely off before I leave the house, it's so annoying but I just can't leave my house unless I know EVERYTHING that should be off, is definitely off.

Absolutely cannot touch ketchup. If I'm doing the washing I have to rinse it down the sink before putting the 'contaminated' plate in the bowl with everything else.

I don't like hugs or intimate touching unless I really trust that person.
I always have to sleep with my door closed.
I like to have everything around me kept neat, except ironically my room is a right state.
I used to be a lot worse though, when I was younger I would repeat slogans from TV ads to myself, feel the need to press my palms against sharp corners or blunt objects, always check my wardrobe before going to bed, used to bite my nails and used to pull out individual head hairs

Also on my TV I always have to have subtitles on, in case I miss any words.
But subtitles are never specific. Especially with a live programme they always tend to do the jist of what someone says rather than put every single unnecessary word in. Does that drive you crazy? lol

Well, sentences mostly.
If it ends in an even number, then I'm happy, if it's not then I'm just... not.
Eh? you count the syllables of each word in a full sentence to establish if it equals an odd or even number? Surely by the time you've done that, you'd have lost the thrust of what was being said? :conf: I'm not having a go here, it sounds incredibly time consuming for the end result.
if you didn't mean syllables, but meant counting the words in a sentence, and then you do the 'even = happy, odd = not' - I have to ask the question why you would post 2 sentences then as you have done above, both which end in odd numbers - when you personally had the choice to add in one extra word to make them into 'evens'.

I never drain a cup of tea. I have to leave the bottom few dregs
I can't sit in the living room in silence. The TV has to be on

I heard or read somewhere that a lot of people do it due to subconciously thinking you'll get a mouthful of sloppy biscuit or tealeaves!
When I'm having chilli enchiladas, I have to grate the cheese 20 times on each plate.. I ended up on 18 once when the cheese ran out and had to open new cheese just for the extra 2 grates!

On my ipod my apps have to be in order of when I downloaded them and they must be categorized by whether I got them for free or bought them.

in a cubicle I aim for the sides of the toilet bowl because I hate making a noise.
Yep, I do that..
And another one is my desktop has to be completely clear. It makes me stressed out if I have a load of random files all over the place in no order or with no clear labels.
...and that...
I have to delete recorded stuff off Sky+ once watched. It bugs me if it's not gone right away
...and that...
I don't like hugs or intimate touching unless I really trust that person.
...and that...
I have to make sure all the cupboards and wardrobe doors are shut.
The food in my cupboards must be the right way up and front facing.
