Saw the first episode tonight. I know it's gonna break my heart ultimately but after seeing this - it's great! I'm sure the synopsis said it's a true story too.....

In the first episode, Cathy is determined to live life to the fullest following a diagnosis of terminal cancer. She keeps news of the illness just between her and her handsome young oncologist, Dr Todd.
She starts by throwing infantile husband Paul out of the house and ordering a pool to be built in the garden so she can teach her favourite dives from childhood to son Adam.
Later, she makes amends with grouchy neighbour Marlene and encourages Andrea, an overweight and difficult pupil, to lose weight and stop smoking
