A man has reportedly died after being stabbed by a knife attached to a cock.

Jose Luis Ocho, 35, passed away in hospital two hours after sustaining the injury while attending an illegal cockfight in Tulare County, CA, on January 30, The AP reports.

An autopsy conducted by the Kern County coroner found that Ochoa died of a "sharp force injury" to his right calf. Officials are now investigating the incident.

Last month, a cock-owner in Mohanpur, West Bengal reportedly died of a neck wound after his own fighting cock slashed his throat with the razor blades attached to its legs.
