Me too, really can't wait for it, Liam's surprised me with his song writing as it's pretty impressive!

I just hope Noel can release a great solo album next!

Don't think we'll be getting anything from Noel for a while. He said on talksport the other day

That's a shame, i hope he takes a similar path as Ian Brown did when The Roses split and becomes a successful solo artist.. some of Ian's stuff is brilliant.

on first impressions I'd say 6/10. Too Beatles-wannabe.

Yes and no, he's always said he's not a frontman and would never go the Ian Brown root :joker:

I hope he does a Marr and joins some younger band.

Hm, i've previously heard that he's started work on a solo album, whether theres any truth in that though i'm not sure.

Yep that wouldn't be bad, personally i've love to see him join Kasabian.

It's not like he's kept it a secret though, he's always been very open about the Beatles having a big influence on him and his music, i really don't mind if it sounds like The Beatles tbh, it's good music so keep it coming!

Yeah I didn't mean it in a bad way or anything lol Liam has always had the "If you like it buy it, if you don't like it don't buy it" attitude anyway which I've always liked.

Yeah, no one else is going to influence his music anyway as i think he hates just about every other band/artist right now.:joker:

What does everyone think of it then?

Personally, it's exceeded all my expections. Definitely a different root from Oasis and, in my opinion, one for the better.

Kill For a Dream, The Morning Son and The Beat Goes On stand out for me.

Saw them at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange last night and i loved every moment. The whole place just errupted when they kicked-off with Four Letter Word, they went away then came back on and played Sons of Stage which is one of my favourite songs, no idea how it didn't make the album itself.

Liam sounds much better than he did in his latter Oasis days IMO. Shame they couldn't play longer than an hour but i suppose that's as long as they can play with just the one album. Should be slightly better once they have 2 or 3 albums out and they can mix it about a bit but i strongly recommend those considering to see them to do it, was a brilliant night.

Gutted I chose against going to TITP now cause they are playing there!
