And they reckon it may have been happening for 3 years, and there could be up to 50 that've been abused.
He had quite a few kids in my sisters year on facebook. He had alot of death threats etc on facebook but they've removed his account now.

I only found out about this yesterday - they've been handing out letters to everyone in secondary schools about the situation in an attempt to not panic everyone but if anything it had an opposite effect - I'm 21 so it doesn't affect me, but everyone was speculating about whether there were a group of people doing it, the news reports seem a bit indecisive as to whether anything actually happened...

A friend of my little brother's said that apparently he'd been seen outside Westlands school (a high school here) grooming girls for a while now. It's a bit scary, my sister went there and my niece might very well go there in September.

Yeah, they could have just thought he was a boyfriend or someone picking up a sister to take home etc. Noone really looks out for young paedophiles.
