It's slightly mortifying but it looks interesting. From what I've heard it sounds like Left 4 Dead but it's an open world game...well Island anyway.

It's a common word in a lot of games and films and such really.

The trailer's got over a million views in a day, It's getting quite a bit of attention. IGN's done an article on the gameplay that makes it sound like a serious Dead Rising mixed in with some Elder Scrolls esque levelling up. It sounds quite immense.

From what I've heard the tone is similar in the game, it's meant to be like a non campy Dead Rising.

The Trailer is good - but it's like you can tell it's choppy and will probably be bad to play?

Most trailers make the game look all awesome and then you get it and it sucks or it's chunky or something, this trailer shows us it.

Zombie games are far from overdone you biscuit. Left For Dead, Dead Rising, Resident Evil etc are all class A franchises and I want more of them in a continuous stream that never ends. I could just as easily say games involving stealing cars and shooting people in the chest for crime bosses are overdone but that would be thick of me, wouldn't it.

This game looks like the pits though. I watched that demo and it looks absurdly unpolished.

Games are as varied in genre, size and scope right now than at any other point in the industries history. If you are complaining about the range of games on the market then you seriously aren't looking hard enough or playing as much games as you would like to think you play.

Your assesment of what zombie games entail is ****ing ludicrously over simplified, too. Resident Evil isin't about 'shoot this zombie! now shoot this zombie!'. Neither is Dead Rising.

Left 4 Dead is. But that's because it's a shooting game. Amazing, I know.

Driving games ... I'm sick of them. It's all about drive here, brake here.

My anticipation for this game has plummeted, it's just nothing like the original trailer. I expected some sort of harrowing but gripping game and it's just a first person version of Dead Rising but more cheesier. The gameplay looks rubbish too.
