Loved the fight with herself, the multicoloured wedding dress paint and the choreography - wasn't so keen on the giant wedding dress but that's about it :) a return to form.

does a great job selling the song; compliments and elevates it which is what all good videos should do.

however, it really wasn't worth all the hype/teasers/anticipation etc. Its just another music video with flashy editing and a bit of choreography. Nothing new and as with all his videos the influences are very obvious to spot. Her dancing looks average too.

but overall it has made me like the song more! so job done I guess.

For those who don't understand it:

-Britney's career starts like a meteor crashing onto Earth.

-Right from the beginning she is always in the spotlight, on camera, on stage, everything is great

-Although she is happy, she feels trapped. Her entire world is her career, her brand. This is why she is in that big circular room with all of her videos.

-Then she meets a man (that awful product placement for PlentyOfFish.com returns) and her public image as well as her personal life starts to get a big hectic. Notice the double eye and the pacing of the video picking up and getting more intense.

-Although she is clearly unhappy no one around her seems to be listening to what she wants. This why the people with no eyes and ears dance around her in the circular room.

-Right before the bridge of the song starts Britney is shown with an exaggerated photoshopped smile as she rises up in the air, right before completely losing it. Although she was starting to go through a meltdown her management did everything they could to try and hold onto that fake image as long as they could.

-Then the paint comes out and splatters all over the video screens and her dress. She is destroying both her career and her personal life.

-She then gets into an intense battle with herself and almost completely loses it all.

-She falls to the ground, seemingly defeated but gets back up and keeps on going.

-The double eye goes back to one as she gets back on stage and starts all over again.

-The cameras come back on, and she is on fire once again.

The song is quite terrible. She's never been a fantastic singer but she could hold a tune but now it's all computerised and makes her voice very whiney.
Plus, her singing was masked by her excellent dancing skills which she now seems to have lost. Lots of fast editing to mask her loss of talent. The concept of the actual video is quite good it's just Britney doesn't "have it" anymore. Feel sorry for her.
Her pushy parents and management should be ashamed.
