Swop Shop!

Don't ask why this came to mind.... (one only the real 'oldies' on here will remember), Noel Edmond's Saturday Swop Shop. (feck....auld age really is kicking in now).

If - a big if.... if anyone here remembers it - did you ever swop anything on it?

If not - if it was still on the go now, what would you have put up to swop and what would you have wanted?

Oh... and before any smart arses chuck in with, "I'd want to swop you for Thomas/Setanta or a.n.other perma banned user...." I'm meaning swopping personal possesions! :tongue:

ha!! TBF, I thought you'd be too young to remember it!

I remember when I was a kid - swopping a pair of boots with my mate, for a bra n knickers set - training bra with....... a fried egg on each bra cup - and one in the front of the knickers! I hadn't even come close to developing anything in the bra, but wanted to be all grown up.

Needless to say, a got a skud round the head and told, "You better get those boots back....or else!".
