wright-stuff debate - council homes for life

as per usual this debate will trap,
only the well off will not feel the cap.
i fully understand the shortage and the need,
but failing to build any houses is fuelling the greed.
we are pushing the less well of together and segregating,
this is discrimination i am calculating.
generations may have grown up in your pad,
to false them to move will be a devastating fad.
family's that breed will continue to flourish,
because depriving them of a bigger property we have to nourish.
people coming to this country will not be on hold,
because we have to house them, even if our own are out in the cold.
the whole system is wrong and there is no shield,
because as i said before, its all due to the failure to build.

(the joe normally loves mathew and his views but i am strongly against him on this one - just woundered dose anyone else back what he is saying or are you in the Joe's ship lol ?)

the council house shortage is a disgrace. You can't sell them off and not build replacements to fill the demand!

plus there are far too many tenants who stay in council housing long after they can afford to move into the private market. Those properties should be for the most needy in society. Not provide cheap housing for others.

the whole thing has been badly handled over the years and thats why we have a housing shortage crisis.
