Seems to be alllll over, has been for the last few years. Can't turn on the music channels without seeing some crappy British rapper mumbling to some dance beat they ripped off (Hey Tinie Tempah) Brits rapping have never sounded good to me really, can't really understand them and they go too fast. I'll admit I liked Dizzie Rascals early stuff and I like The Streets, but that is about it. And these so called "urban" acts ruined the brits too. Look at JLS. Wish we could get some decent music back :bored: And I was not happy eith Eillie for doing a song with Tinie :nono: And this is not to do with cos they're black ILoveYouToo before you start woman :nono:

oops, wrote quite a lot D:

Hate! Pitbull, Chris Brown.

But 'Champion' by Chris and Chipmunk is a decent song.

Tinchy is crap now too.

The Streets are a fine act who make good tunes but you're right it's a woeful scene that seems forever on the up. I do like that one Prof Green did with Lilly Allen though. She's so ****ing sexy in that video.

Some of it's alright. I like Plan B, Prof Green, Example and Tinie Tempah but that's about it. The Streets were good too.

I don't like Dizzee that much, the only song I like of his is the one off Fifa Street. Back Up The Wall or something.

I don't pay much attention to it, but some of it is decent (Tinie Tempah, Tinchy Strider), some AWFUL (Ndubz, Example). Weirdly, people like Plan B and The Streets get on my nerves.

Still, its come a long way since the days of Babycakes, So Solid Crew and Tim Westwood. :joker:

Historically, hip hop and urban music has never been the UK's strong point. We've been better at dub, drum & bass, grime and dubstep.

Plan B, Professor Green and Devlin are the only ones I like. The rest are all pretty same-y and crap.

Plan B has some decent songs. He doesn't seem a likeable guy though. Always seems a bit short in interviews. Still don't get the Tinie love 0_0

Favourite Plan B song.

Forgot to metion Giggs earlier, I like some of his stuff too. Still, the UK Hip-Hop scene has nothing on the American one, especially from a few years ago. Snoop, Notorious, Tupac, Big L etc.
