Welch believes in Dancing on Ice win

Denise Welch believes that she can win 'Dancing On Ice'.

The star spoke about her shock at being in week eight, but is now beginning to think she can win due to support from the public.

She told The Daily Mirror: "I'm totally gobsmacked I've got this far, but I'm really starting to believe I can do it.

"I thought I would have been out weeks ago and I think the judges did too. Of course, I get a bit miffed when the judges give me low marks but the public have been voting for me and keeping me in and that's a fantastic boost.

"I think some people are starting to worry I could get to the final with the 'Loose Women' supporters."

While the presenter does not think she's the best contestant on the show, she has gained a lot of confidence though taking part.

She explained: "Going out in front of a million viewers in a transparent leotard was something I'd never have believed I could do. I'm loving the whole experience and I've already signed up to go on the Dancing On Ice tour. I am so proud of what I've achieved and how much I keep improving, but my partner Matt has been a fantastic teacher."

in fairness it doesnt state that she thinks she can win, another media contrived story and loads of people are gullible enough to be drawn in yet again.

Just another media story taken out of context. The only thing that very loosely suggests she has said she's capable of winning is the title, do we really believe newspapers in this day in age?

Either way she's hardly going to say: "I can't win, I can't skate, I have no fans, tbh, I don't have a clue why I'm on this show"

I said earlier not in a million years but the avid fans of the Loose Women show seem to be a force to reckon with and also Denise is plugged to death by the show every week for people to support her.

I was stunned the public put her ahead of the last 2 placings again this week for Vanilla Ice and Laura for goodness sake. I can't still see her winning it but if people are just voting for her no matter the performance then I guess anything could happen.

I don't think she's ever been in the bottom 2 yet.

That would be the worst ever result of any series od Dancing on Ice if he did.

The way this series is going and being messed with so much with the twists, another twist coming next week it seems, and also the judging panel so weak now, I honestly hope Johnson does win, to show what a mockery the series has now become, going the same way as the likes of shows like the X Factor.
