View Full Version : Can women be "evil"?

I'm a guy and when I think of women sometimes I think they can be catty and bitchy but I never seem to think of them as "evil". And if there was a female serial killer my first instinct would be to think she must have had a really *******ed up childhood and wasn't evil just really messed up inside. Some men I've come across I would describe as evil, however.

So am I wrong? Is the "evil" adjective sometimes justified?

I dont really think of anyone as "evil" tbh, I dont think anyone is completely good or completely bad either. Although to answer the question I think it is possible for women to commit the same acts as men but it seems a lot rarer to have a female serial killer or something like that

Well, the most evil person I know is female. I think evilness doesn't discriminate between genders, you don't have to be a serial killer to be evil. Though generally speaking serial killers tend to be male, no idea what the reasoning for that is (if there is reasoning for it of course)

Men are more likely to be serial killers because generally women are too stupid to get away with the first murder nether mind the 2nd or 3rd.

Diane Downs was pure evil. There was a good series on the crime channel called "Women Who Kill" which showed a load of cases about female killers. Any woman who is a Psychopath has the potential to be evil.

This is also a great series

In case anyone doesn't know who that is, it's Myra Hindley, the woman behind the Moors murders, she helped her husband kidnap young boys and let him rape them then bury them on Saddleworth Moors just outside Manchester, she died in the 00's, thank god, the evil bitch

PS here's a list of female serial killers

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Bathory

Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed (Báthory Erzsébet in Hungarian, Alžbeta Bátoriová in Slovak; 7 August 1560 – 21 August 1614) was a countess from the renowned Báthory family of Hungarian nobility.

After her husband's death, she and four collaborators were accused of torturing and killing hundreds of girls, with one witness attributing to them over 650 victims, though the number for which they were convicted was 80. Elizabeth herself was neither tried nor convicted. In 1610, however, she was imprisoned in the Csejte Castle, now in Slovakia and known as Čachtice, where she remained bricked in a set of rooms until her death four years later.

Later writings about the case have led to legendary accounts of the Countess bathing in the blood of virgins in order to retain her youth and subsequently also to comparisons with Vlad III the Impaler of Wallachia, on whom the fictional Count Dracula is partly based, and to modern nicknames of the Blood Countess and Countess Dracula.

Join the Queen of British Crime Authors Martina Cole, as she examines the life and times of six notorious female serial killers. Using expert analysis and dramatic reconstruction, we examine the cases and try to answer the questions – why do women kill and why are we surprised when they do? The Lady Killers examined are Myra Hindley, Amelia Dyer, Beverly Allitt, Rose West, Mary Ann Cotton and Elizabeth Bathory.

Of course women can be evil - just look at the ones who deprive their kids of seeing their dads just to get one over on their ex partner, without any thought whatsoever as to how that emotionally and psychologically damages and hurts their kids.

Recent cases, like Vanessa George, the nursery helper who sexually abused the kids entrusted to her care, show that women are just as capable of the most despicable and evil acts.

Great example.
That story showed even the most innocent and polite looking people can be the sickest, most despicable creatures. She should be burned alive for what she did to those children.

She got sicker after she was caught when she refused to identify the children she'd molested. Worried parents were left wondering if they're very young children were her victims or not. Sick bitch.

It wasn't a man. There was a conspiracy about it actually being a woman called Jill the Shredder.

I think evil men are more likely to take their evil to greater extremes than women do on the whole, but women have a greater capacity to be emotionally cruel. They are more sensitively tuned in to what makes people tick so are more adept at manipulating peoples' emotions, especially guilt. With men it's more about asserting their power and intimidation.

Maybe not more evil, but definitely more powerful. ;)

Ever hear pf the Greek goddess Demeter? Because she had control over the weather, she held Zeus to ransom by causing a drought and, by consequence, a famine. In essence, this meant she could get the supposed 'king of the gods' to accede to her every demands.

if a woman could make a man betray his whole empire then he's not fit enough to be a leader.

Even the strongest of men can go weak and lose all sense if seduced by a nice pair of titties and moist vagina.
