View Full Version : Hangover Cures
Does anybody have their own personal hangover 'cures' that seem to make you feel a bit better?
Usually melon makes me a bit more perky and those orange vit C tablets but I don't have either and I have quite possibly the worst hangover in the history of hangovers :bawling:

That's made me want to vom even more  My friend smoked way too much last night and was sick all over the bus floor :joker:
water/fluid, grease, paracetamol, fresh air and sleep.. in that order.
If it's the kind of hangover that almost requires medical attention then I pity you and would recommend getting Motilium tablets from the chemist, they're an anti sickness drug that take away that upset tummy/sicky feeling. Also paracetamol for the headach (with plenty of water) and get some Milk Thistle tablets from Holland and Barrett which rejuvenates your liver.
Hope you feel better soon :)
Don't Drink = No Hangover :eureka:

I swear they are the best thing! The sickness part of a hangover is the bit I hate the most and these pills take away any queasiness and seems to help with the hangover indigestion etc.
Those drinks that you're supposed to drink when you get in and before you go to bed definitely help too but it's remembering to take them that's the problem
Yeah I pretty much get in, chuck my keys down and pass out on my bed, remembering to get changed is hard enough to remember lol.
You could try a resolve, it might get rid of the sicky feeling.
I had one of those earlier but it made my stomach feel all bubbly and make me feel even more sick haha.
Just be patient and sleep it off. You should be fine by 6pm.
The best cure for hangover is preventive. Milk before a drinking session will absorb the alcohol and Plenty of water (loads - as much as you can drink) before bed/passing out will stop some of the dehydration.

2 pints of water.... before bed ;)
I order 2 chicken sandwich meals from McDonalds, seems to do the trick, whilst getting fat :joker:
If not McDonalds, sometimes a hot rods box meal from KFC will help but sometimes it knocks me sick, or occasionally something meaty & greasy from Subway, foot long of course. But in general fast food.
Oh how I wish I drove and had a KFC near me, popcorn chicken is beautiful when hungover

Shaun!! You mustn't take that amount of paracetamol at once! That is dangerous!

Greasy food and a bottle of Lucozade does the trick for me. Most of the time the thought of food makes me feel even more sick though so I usually just drink the Lucozade.
