PHILADELPHIA - CBS and Warner Brothers have officially fired Charlie Sheen from "Two And A Half Men," even if the show comes back from hiatus.
In a brief statement, the network and Warners saidon Tuesday, "After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on 'Two and a Half Men,' effective immediately."
It's unknown if they will try to bring back the show without Sheen.
There was no reaction from Sheen on his Twitter account.
Last week, Sheen called in to Wired 96.5 in Philadelphia and insisted he would return to "Men" and hinted he was close to deal to rejiopn the hit show.
Sheen has been locked in an ugly fight with CBS and Warner Brothers, and he is reportedly banned from the Warners' production lot.
