I think Jersey Shore is great. I think it's brilliantly cast. I watched an episode the other night and I was roaring with laughter. They can make a whole episode out of someone being late to go out to the bar. I'm amazed how successful it is. And I'm a little jealous. But my guess is — and here's your quote! — The Real World will be on the air a long time after Jersey Shore leaves. Just like The Real World has survived The Osbournes, The Hills, and Laguna Beach.

I'm hoping it because they just renewed the contact, but then again Jersey Shore is already dying and when they start the spin offs that will be the nail in the coffin.

The Real World has it's highest ratings in 3 years this season so it will definitely be still be around for awhile.

I'm fed up with people constantley saying things like 'The Only Way Is Essex is copied from Jersey Shore' and comparing every Reality show to Jersey Shore.

JERSEY SHORE is a 'rip off' from The Real World.
It pisses me off how they air JS in the UK but not The Real World, like honestly - I agree with that dude in the interview, TRW will be around for a whole lot longer than Jersey Shore.

I'm quite upset, I've lost track of the Las Vegas season because my computer broke and sh*t. :(
It was looking so good too, has it got any better or went downhill ILTRW?
I last watched at Episode 3.

Ugh see, if they aired TRW in the UK I could just record all the episodes on Sky Plus.

Wait I remember you or someone saying N.O was the highest rated series in a long time, so if LV has got even higher than that - then The Real World is on the right track and gaining ratings as it goes along, while most reality shows are going the opposite. :shocked:

Jersey Shore's better, It's staged and completely tasteless but it knows what it is, a guilty pleasure that doesn't take itself seriously. Real World is just a showcase of moronic pretty people that act over dramatically and vy for the title of worst actor just to get a few column inches in US weekly. It's trash TV that thinks it's something better when it's not. It's insufferable.

I agree, I hate reality programmes like this. People nowadays are too caught up in what other people are doing, even if it is scripted.
