It's a great game. I'm about to kick a gym leader's ass with a lightning zebra, Bitch made me walk all the way to the top of a tower when she had a plane. To prove how good this game is here's a picture of a pokemon that looks like an ice cream cone.

in white i think you can catch 32 different pokemon at the end, and then in black you just get to battle trainers, that's what i heard.

It's so weird how the Games have become more successful then the Card game and the actually TV series, think it's the second biggest selling game franchise ever behind Mario, Loved the first free Blue/Red/Yellow and Gold/Silver, didn't really like Emerald and Ruby and haven't played it since then but I'd probably play it again if i brought a DS, it's so addictive.

Each version has a different extra location as well, Black gets Black City where you can buy Items while White gets White forest where you can catch some of the older pokemon. I've not got to Black City yet but from what I hear it's a better deal then the forest as it's just stuff like Pidgeys and that.

I think Pokemon is Nintendo's killer app for the portable consoles, most people who buy one will most likely get a pokemon game at some point.

there's no older pokemon in the game until after you beat the story so a lot of the new ones are twists on Red & Blue pokemon, Like you've got Woobat and Roggenrola instead of Zubat and Geodude.

They're good in this game, the encounter rate is quite high. What level are your pokemon at?

my starter (emboar) is level 59, and all the rest in my team are between 38-42, i could probably do with leveling them all up to at least 45 before challenging them. i've got the two exp shares though, which helps.

I did it with everyone at level 50, still quite tricky in parts though as the Elite Four uses a lot of moves to cover their weaknesses. Emboar will do well though I think.

i think the one that's going to be the most difficult to win against is caitlin, because one of emboar's weaknesses is psychic. eek. usually, i just use my starter and i only switch in the other pokemon so i can heal it, i find that easier than matching type with type.

Psychic is weak to Dark, Ghost and bug type attacks, if you got any of them use them in bulk against her. Caitlin's not bad, I had a harder time against Marshal.

i think i have a bug pokemon somwhere that i could probably quickly train. also i partly ev trained my emboar in attack, so it is pretty strong, even when the move isn't really effective it usually takes out most of hp in one move.

oh right, i didn't know that about audinos. i found one and captured it instead LOL. i might try that soon, sounds good.

i have a sandile, so i will get that to evolve after training the rest of my team and a bug pokemon and then i think i'm good to go :dance:

beating n was surprisingly easy though, and so was ghetsis. i'm finding the seven sages now, one left.

I had trouble against Ghetsis' Hydreigon but apart from that he's not too difficult. I haven't done anything about the sages yet, I just trained up a new team and took on the Elite Four again, I'll get started on the sages soon I think.

Have you gotten the fire moth egg yet? It's amazing when it's levelled up.

Same here, I didn't have any ice types though and Sawk couldn't make use of the fighting type weakness so I had to keep reviving Reshiram and bringing him back in.

Volcorana one of my favourites from the new games, it's stupidly powerful.

- Elekid and Skitty evolution line are exclusive to White 2.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 comes out in August, and I recently got Mario Tennis Open. Those 2 games will eat up my time and then October will be really soon :amazed: I'm going to pre-order next week probably, haven't gotten around to it yet. I stuck with Pidove's evo, Tepig's evo and Drilbur til like Route 4 then realised I really needed a grass type, so went back to the Forest and caught a Petilil so I could trade it with that girl in Nacrene City for a Cottonee and omfg never looked back since :love: It's amazing for status moves and the boosted exp is always useful, I'm at Nimbassa now and if my game didn't keep freezing I would have beaten N at the fairground :rolleyes:

btw I will be using this as my Pokemon Diary ifydnm
