-doesn't need to expand on the thread title, really-
If I was forced to choose (well, given the opportunity ) I'd probably instantly go for Tokyo.

I really should visit Ireland at some point since it is so close. I don't know why I haven't before.

That's always the way though, There's alot of places in Ireland I haven't been to myself, as well as Britain. I suppose when you think about travelling or going on holiday you always think about going further

Don't you like Galway? I love it, it's so quaint and doesn't seem as knackerish as Cork City

i know it sounds weird but i was forced to move to singapore for my parents job and if someone offered me a plane ticket right now it would be back to england, england is amazing compared to here, you can realise what you had once you've left. :(

Yeah I know. I have travelled Europe and Asia/Australia and am currently in talks about a massive 2 year road trip through USA and Canada in the next few years.
But I really would love to travel around the UK and Ireland for a few months. You know what, I may just do that. Make Bristol my starting point and then go from there.

The homesickness stage. I had that. It's such a horrible time. But honestly after a few months back here you realise that this country has just as many annoying things.
The way I would try and look at it is that take the most from your experience there and the countries around you. You can return to England in the future with a hell of a lot of cultural understandings and experience. ;)

There's only one city left in the world that I have really, really wanted to visit and haven't yet and that's Beijing.
It's more Countries I would love to visit. Egypt being one, and Russia the other. But if given the chance I think I would love to visit quite a few Countries.
