I have thought long and hard about my tattoo. It took me a long time to decide between a cross and a turtle, but glad I went with a turtle as it represents me. I may regret it in years to come, but I doubt it as anything I get done to myself is a good decision, it represents who I am. If people don't like it, so what, they don't have to. :)

How many things in life that you regret, do you carry around as a permanent reminder of that regretful choice though and one that will be there as a very physical reminder - that's the difference.

Tattoos might seem nice on young, lithe, taut skin - not so good when skin is crepey and sagging in senior years ...... not a good look at all.

I know lots of younger ladies who have tattoos on the the fleshy side of their hands, on their wrists, ankles, top of their shoulders, back of neck - all of these are in full view and especially in summer - I'm sure they'll look 'stunning' when they are in their 60's, 70's, 80's and beyond.
