Seriously.....how the hell is Kate Moss still classed as model material.

In this picture: there is a woman of 45 and a woman of 56 who are look far better than Moss - her arse and legs are a complete mess (along with the rest of her).

Moss is in the centre. What a state.

I saw this the other day - can't believe she's considered to be a super model, but then I've never understood what people see in her. She'll soon be the wrong side of 40 and she'd not ageing very well is she? Compare her to the likes of Twiggy and Janice Dickinson, ages 61 and 56 respectively and imagine what state she'll be in by the time she's their age:eek:

See the catty women are out in force. Sad how women are the first to attack each other over looks.

She's been a model for 22 years and is still one of the highest paid models in the world.
A fact that overshadows anything you two have to say given that you don't pay for her services. She's worth whatever those who hire her are willing to pay. At this point its her name and face that commands her huge fees. Not her ass.

It's not her ass that you see on the cover of Vogue.

Exactly.....and as the photos show... she's a mess. Look at this vs the likes of Elle McPherson, Cindy Crawford - older and far more beautiful in every way.

Her face, unphotoshopped, would never make it onto the cover of Vogue.

BTW - I see you do wonderful show of being catty yourself - highly ironic to berate others for the very same thing you yourself are guilty of in your post above - shows how hypocritical you are - it's incredibly amusing. ;)

Ah... the same way that you just bitched about Lynda Carter in your thread about who the hell has a body (waist) like that...... but then deleted it............ (you had to, otherwise you'd be seen as being so contradictory and critical yourself eh by coming back onto this thread with that particular comment.........when you yourself had just posted an equally bitchy comment on L.Carter's body) PMSL. I was pointing out your hypocrisy. ;)

It seems other people can't have an opinion on here unless it jives with their own - how sad and pathetic is that? Just ignore the sad, think they know it all (but actually know nothing) poorly educated, sexist fools, they're not worthy of a response, since all they know how to do is make offensive, rude and/or sarcastic personal attacks on other FMs.

Quite. Given that Ms Moss is a very public figure: whose very body is her business as a model - I have every right to make comment on the awful condition her body is in without being berated for giving that opinion.

Kate Moss is long past her best in the modelling world....... without modern technology fixing her up - she'd be washed up long ago.

this is why she still commands huge fees. No new model can get this attention on the catwalk. Her presence, her name. She is a living legend in the fashion world. One unflattering shot of her arse doesn't negate all that. Ignorance.

I have actually never seen kate moss as attractive. But then a lot of supermodels arent, usually they are hired for their tall skinny firm bodies above all else. But kate seems to be losing that now too :/

Not that it will matter anyways, I would think her name makes more cash than her actual work these days. That and her face on fashion magazines...

exactly. If they just wanted a perfect body they'd hire a 20 year old bikini model. Not that Kate was ever a bikini model. Bodywise, she defied the odds of what a supermodel should look like physically just by being short. So obviously she compensated for it in other ways.

What's ignorance? Acknowledging the fact that Kate the model has 56 year old woman and others older than her, putting her to shame as far as the condition and state her body is in? nah... that's not ignorance, it's fact.

I agree. Her name brings in the cash these days - clearly her body isn't in any good nick for modelling any longer.

As for her face - again, it's got to be digitially enhanced beyond all recognition for it to appear in the glossy mags. Anyone had a real look at the state of her skin, the mess her teeth are in - the shots that the paps get.

A great role model she is not: she is however a great advert for not partying your life away, getting pissed and being out of your face and living the 'rock chic' lifestyle.

aha.. but not every celeb is a model. If someone is modelling on a catwalk at the level of Kate Model 'Supermodel', it's fair and reasonable to assume that said model's body would be at least in half decent nick.

Oh absolutely agree - many others do have to be digitally enhanced. My point is clear though - bodily, the model is in no shape to be on catwalks - given that some level of reasonable body condition is a pre-requisite. Add to that, my point was that her body isn't in good nick - and neither is her other main area - her face. So effectively - as far a any natural beauty goes: she's losing the race with mother nature.

yes, dear.

Hmm maybe. Personally I dont think she looks that bad generally, bodywise. Though a lot of other models wipe the floor with her, shes probably still got a better body than the average person does... I do think the above photo is a very bad photo. We all have off days and angles that dont agree with us

there are many models on catwalks with worse bodies than hers, actually. Some are walking skeletons.

and there are only a handful of models who have her fame and presence on the catwalk. So your point is ridiculous really.

Her body is plenty good enough to wear fashion outfits. Even relatively skimpy outfits like above. Go look at the other shots from that catwalk show. Her ass looks perfectly fine in all but one of the shots. Which is, surprise surprise, the one shot thats been picked up on.

That's your opinion and it's not one I share.

Go search the amount of pictures that the media snap of her on beaches, hanging of windows, smiling and showing her grotty teeth, awful skin, spots, sagging skin, celluite legs. I'm not saying any of us are perfect - but a model should have some redeeming features - I see none in Kate Moss.

well of course you don't because youre not looking for any!

just wanna hate on her. Which makes your opinion worthless IMO.

I don't need to speak in her defense because the fact that she is still one of the worlds highest paid models after 22 years speaks volumes.

These are not idiots paying her huge sums they are serious businesses who want her name and her look. She doesnt get photoshopped any more or less than the 20 year old models would on a magazine cover. They can have bad skin as much as a 37 year old.

I think you'll find its her bone structure that makes her so photogenic and bone structure doesn't sag!

Seriously have a look at the photos I've just put up and tell me you think she's got facial beauty....... there's more to it that bone structure - it's called computer ehancement - and by christ - it's obvious that she looks nothing remotely like her 'computer perfect' pictures.

Not any more -many year ago yes. Now, she's not got a hope in hell - she's a mess. Bone structure doesn't sag, but unhealthy aging skin does - her nasolaboid folds, wrinkles, skin tone, pimples, facial marks and hooded eyelids all disappear......it's a miracle!!!..... oh no, wait.....it's called digital editing.

I don't give two hoots whether you think my opinion is worthless or not. Means not a jot to me, what does mean something is showing just how bad this supermodel looks - it's only the computerised version that the gullible buy into, and those that promote her as something that she isn't.

whoopee doo

I could go find 768 great pictures to counteract but Ill just let you make a fool of yourself.

Kate is STILL one of the worlds leading models. Sorry, she just is. And those catwalk pictures are not digitally enhanced so quit implying that every good picture of her face is photoshopped. She's been papped a million times out and about and only a few show her looking really awful and thats the ones that get published because it makes a better story...supermodel looking rough etc

please get a clue

ps. and if she gave a fck about her teeth looking perfect or her lines showing she could very easily get them fixed. The fact she doesnt give a damn is commendable in my eyes. She is what she is and has always never been afraid to show herself without make up...or botox.

I started this thread because of the nick of a overhyped model's body is in....and I have every right to do so if I wish to - without having to listen to personal insults from you or anyone else.

Unlike you, I am able to converse without resorting to personal insults on other forum members.

I don't have to stick by any member of sex - my own or any other. I think women should be allowed to grow older - I also think that Kate Moss and her modelling days are over - as these pictures (the genuine ones) show...and she should grow older gracefully - not by walking down catwalks with her saggy, wrinkly arse hanging out. Time for her to move out and move on - leaving the younger more toned youthful models to it.

No. I'd rather models be as healthy looking as they can be - you don't have to be a size zero to be that - nor should they be 18. There are models older than Kate Moss still look fabulous - in their size 10/12 and bigger. My point is that Kate Moss is clearly past it and cannot hold her own with some of the younger models - or some of the older ones who have taken the time to maintain their looks - in the very industry that looks are important (I mean from head to toe, not just facially).

I don't believe I necessarily 'care' - that doesn't negate me commenting on it though.

You really need to catch up

firstly, modelling isnt all about virginal young things these days. And given that ALL models of all ages are photoshopped a few wrinkles dont mean sh!t. Kate Moss still looks fantastic in magazine shoots and commercial campaigns. Which is exactly why she still gets paid millions.

As for catwalks, she retired from it in 2004. She has only done a few for special charity occasions since then. This comeback was for her friend Marc Jacobs. So its not even like she's still trying to be a catwalk model. She looks fantastic in the show and had the crowd cheering. Why? because she's a megastar model making a return to the catwalk. Unlike you, the crowd were not obsessed with looking for every wrinkle on her face and ass.

So get your facts right and quit trying to imply she's still trying to compete with teen models. They wish they had her fame and asking price.

She's not really a supermodel these days in fairness to her. Even without all the wear and tear from her party lifestyle, she is too old to be doing what she used to.
