Following reports that Nicki Minaj is in talks to join the judging panel of Simon Cowell's X Factor USA, it has been claimed that Cowell is hoping that Minaj will be able to attract a fresh audience to the format.

Are things getting to a worrying stage if weeks before auditions begins they are still in TALKS with potential judges.

Or is this just more smoke and mirrors?

Whatever it is, I'm getting tired of it now. Booo-ring!

American press aren't interested in X Factor, its all about The Voice over there so he's probably trying to get column inches. The fact that its getitng more coverage over here when it will air on ITV2 4 months after the original broadcast speaks volumes.

You just know that his panel will be a let down. He's promising Rihanna but he'll probably end up with Nicole (who isn't big in America as she is over here) and Cheryl on the panel.

saying he had so many good judges.

Of Course its all in place.

The E channel
can fill 15mins on his (or maybe his not) judges.


But it will be a Hit
as younger and real older folks can enter this.

Suggesting now that Nichole Schertlifter is going to be the host?? And Cheryl's back on the Judges panel?? It get worse!

The Voice starts next month so obviously its getting more media coverage there now. They have a star panel in place and are doing lots of press for it.

XF doesnt start until october and they don't even have the cast chosen yet so there's only speculation to go on. It gets mention in the UK a lot because of Cheryl.

Come nearer the time they will ramp up the PR for it for sure. Theyre putting HUGE money into it. A $5million contract prize for starters!

The voice just has $100k prize. LOL.
