Chris Brown was reportedly "upset" following an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday.
The R&B singer is said to have had an outburst following his interview on the ABC chatshow, going on to throw a chair through a glass window before marching out of the building shirtless.
"He's been trying to move on from his past and focus on his music, and he's finally putting out an album," a source told People.
"Why can't we focus on that? He makes great music and he loves his fans. He's a good kid."
The "tense" situation was caused by questions he was asked regarding his 2009 domestic violence case against ex-girlfriend Rihanna, which allegedly caused him to "flip out" even before cameras started rolling.
It has since been rumoured that Brown's scheduled appearance on Dancing with the Stars may be cancelled following the incident.

to be fair to him I think the backlash is a bit exaggerated. Of course what he did was wrong but...well. I'm hitting a repetitive theme here. Forgiveness, redemption, etc etc.

watch out rihanna.

The media/public have never been kind to woman beaters though, I think it's justified to be honest, I think it's better that he faces a lifetime of derision than a lifetime of hatred towards women that never gets called out by anyone. It's obviously frustrating for him that he can't move forward with his life but when he does something as stupid as that, he has to expect it.

Why should they be the only two options? He's got help after the Rihanna situation, it's a shade presumptuous to assume he'll always be a woman-beater.

I'm not saying he will always be a woman beater, I said it's better in the long run that he got publicly shamed for being a woman beater rather than it happening and nobody saying a word - what would stop him from doing it again if that hadn't happened? Plenty of people become infamous for one mistake, he's no different to them. He'd be doing himself a favour if he learned to admit he was wrong to other people and apologise for what he did whenever it's brought up, it's the only way it'll ever be put to rest IMO.

Okay, yeah, so he's been publically shamed. And now what? He'll forever he be known as a wifebeater? People change, and to be honest to judge someone's entire career, entire personality, for one mistake, is fickle.
And from what I can see he's spent the past 2/3 years apologising for that. It's now only ever thrown about by the media for a cheap sensationalism story - everyone has their shameful moments. Even Rihanna's expressed her contempt for how often it's brought up, and has stated (via Twitter, I remember) that it should be forgotten.
Well Lennon did smack his bitches up when he was an alcoholic. The difference being he wasn't a complete dick about it afterwards and wrote some good music.
Brown just strikes me as a massive tit entity. From reading his diatribes online he has a very short temper, tremendous difficulty in wielding the English language, and his music is just awful. And naming things like 'The Fan Appreciation Tour'? LOL.

I think the problem is that he comes across as unrepentant and insincere, when he apologised when it happened it was very forced fake and now he acts like the victim whenever it's brought up. He's the one that did wrong, he doesn't get a say in when people get over it.

'I Can Transform Ya'

Well, no
Its set to enter the US album chart at no1 with 250-275k sales. Even in the UK its set to enter top10 with similar sales to Nicole Pussycat. So, in the UK, he's no less a flop than she is, really.
I think what he did was utterly stupid. However, I can understand his frustration at not being allowed to move on. He's still quite young and has time to become a better person and learn from his mistakes.
That said, he still seems to have anger issues. He needs better help and better PR advice.

I know it probably won't but I'm just hoping. I can't stand the guy at all, its just the way he acts.
And even though he's young, its still no excuse for what he did to Rihanna and the way he flips his lid whenever someone mentions it. :bored:
Would've been better if it was on Daybreak, he could've smashed the window and then jumped out into the River Thames
He's a pathetic excuse for a human being. His past has come back to bite him on the arse in spectacular fashion whilst he's just hoping it will go away. It won't and the more he acts like that, the less sympathy people will have for him in such situations. If he shown even a slight bit of remorse, maybe he wouldn't get grilled on it time and time again. People want to see that reaction.

maybe his remorse comes from inside and not from emoting to a camera? Seems people want to see him look into a camera with tears in his eyes doing some kind of redemption performance. Well he's not an actor.
I have no idea whether he really regrets hitting her or not but I don't need to see him make public apologies constantly. The only person he really needs to apologise to is Rihanna. Privately.
