In recent interviews I read ans watched, some of the bb12 hgs claimed that the producers of the show tried to influence their decisions in the diary room. Also housemates said that others were acting suspicious:

-Rachel said her "dont get between me and my man" catchphrase was acually big brother telling her to say it during monets, andrews and kristins messages when they were evicted

-Britney said that Big Brother tried hinting at her to help convince the hoh to nominate rachel and brendon. She also revealed that her and rachel met each other before the season, but when she started talking about it big brother told her to keep quiet and she was already warned.

-I think it was ragan who said that after rachels fight with kristin she went up to her and said "its just for cameras, dont worry about it" . Also rachel said herself that her twitter arguements with ragan were "for the fans"

hmmmmmm, more of a reason to hate bb12

I'm not surprised if the producers want to encourage a certain outcome but I do know that they absolutely did not want Annie (the saboteur) to go in the first week. The season was being advertised as a "summer of sabotage" but it became a mere week of sabotage and the only person Annie truly sabotaged was herself. The producers can exert some influence but it is ultimately up to houseguests what direction the show takes.

They know they're on television and no matter what that's going to make them act differently than they otherwise would have. That's always going to be a problem and there's hardly anything that can be done about it. I think Rachel was advertizing for being on All Stars 2 when she was fighting with the other hgs because during her 24 hour return to the house after eviction she mentioned to Matt that they could be allies during All Stars.

If it was fake they could've at least made it entertaining :p

yes, yes, the season sucked. That was partly because the saboteur twist made houseguests more cautious and less open which caused less conflict than there otherwise would have been. But the cast was just not as interesting as the one last year.

i think they havea right to control what the hgs say because there needs to be a story but rigging the game i do kinda have a problem with

LOL. this.
Remember in big brother 9 the hoh that had a questionj like "is there any people in the house related by blood" or something and it turns oput the pet hamsters were brothers? and that cost sharon hoh which caused her to be evicted that week :S

The question was pre-existing relationships I thought? [/too much BBUS knowledge] But yeah, Shannon could've definitely been a contender then had that **** not happened. Sheila probably would've gone home 4th as Ryan won PoV that week anyway.

it was a TRICK question that the guys noticed

The guys never spotted it was a trick question. Ryan knew that Sharon was ahead going into the last question. When the last question was asked you can see Ryan basically gesturing 'oh what the hell' as he walks to true as he knew he had nothing to lose.

The producers didn't want Sharon in the final 3 as it would have ruined their plan for a Adam and Sheila final 2.

BB12 was weak anyway. If the producers fixed it, they could have kept Rachel a bit longer because that bitch was funny.

I know during interviews contestants are asked a lot of questions out of left field, or are pushed about certain topics the producers are hoping to uncover information on. Those kind of things could certainly influence a more paranoid individual. So producer influence is inevitable in a way, and probably happens to some degree on every season of BB, Survivor, etc.

The shady kind of influencing on the other hand, I'm more doubtful of. It wouldn't be particularly shocking to discover, but neither would contestants misconstruing things or outright lying after their 15 minutes of fame are over.

If those are true that's even more of a reason why Rachel is everything wrong with casting on these reality game shows.

the losers always claim it's rigged... because of course, why else would they lose? It couldn't be because they are too stupid right?? it must be because it's all rigged. lol

We must remember these people have huge egos, that's why they were selected for the show to begin with, so it's not surprising they want to blame someone else when they lose.
