She released an album in 2008 but I think it was more of a demo thing - it was really quite poor. Anyway, she's getting a lot of attention at the moment because one of her videos is recommended after the Born This Way video on YouTube. She also performed it on the Late Show recently.

She's somewhere between Lykke Li and Little Boots - she's Danish iirc.

I did and it didn't bring anything up.

I was also trying to find the thread I started for Aloe Blacc - I need a dollar, it didn't find that either.

are you putting them in speech marks? Because I Need A Dollar would probably filter out the words "I", "Need and "A".

I just searched "Oh Land" and got 4 results

Finally got round to listening to this album, really like it. Shame it didn't even chart in the UK. Wolf & I, Sun of a Gun, Human and Helicopter.

I like her, a lot. She supported Katy when I went to see her and she was fantastic.

I feel as if I've heard the 'sun of a gun' chorus before.

this is crap

Oh Land’s new album will be called ‘Wish Bone’ and is out in early October according to a press release.

The album will be released via Beady Eye producer Dave Sitek’s label Federal Prism and as well as featuring collaborations with him, it will also feature Sia, which sounds like a good idea.

Apparently the first single will be ‘Renaissance Girls’
