Dont think so, only time I have heard of them is when people brag about them :/
Kinda like a badge of honor amongst chavs :bored:
An ASBO to a chav is what a degree is to a regular citizen. Aren't they getting rid of them for that reason?

Just reminds me of restraining orders. If someone has an agenda to harm or scare their victim(s), what on earth is the police 'say so' going to do to stop it? Nada

No, if anything they're a badge of honour, and the thing they're being replaced with is just the same thing, but with a different name, just so people can't get a kick out of saying ''I've got an ASBO, I'm 'ard''.

At best it simply moves the problem idiot from one place to another.......There is a way of dealing with anti social behavour...First stage is to lock up all the do gooders then anti social beahvour would soon decrease back to normal levels of yester year...

I've never liked them. When a chav mugs somebody, it's not antisocial behaviour. It's criminal behaviour. There again, given the conviction rate, and the risible sentences handed out to those found guilty, the British legal system no longer seems to regard assault as a serious crime.

Depends if the local plod actually follow up and prosecute when the offender receiving the ASBO re offends, so in most cases no, however they did work exceedingly well in Middlesbrough area when the local plod was led by 'robocop' Ray Mallon. They are still working now as he is Mayor.
