I voted no because my surface swimming ain't good - but I can scuba to 40m which you can't
I suppose I can, not well though, I only like swimming in the sea on holiday really, dont see the attraction of just swimming up and down a poll

No, I can't and I hate having any contact with water in general ( sea, river and pool ) and I only have baths because there's not another way to get clean.

woos - go down if you have the chance Lee - @ 8m you can feed the fishes as if inside a fish tank. At 40m you saying hello to sharks

Ah yeah I do get like that a bit, last time I was there I suddenly realised a big jellyfish right next to me, I just swam back to shore fast as I could

God no Ian! I hate fish! I reluctantly went snorkelling whilst I was in Mauritius.. Panicked straight awaywhen the coral touched my tummy, then the bloke that was with me calmed me down and I have to admit it was beautiful.. Until I saw 2 MASSIVE ugly fishes just looking at me from behind a rosk. I panicked big time, didn't realise you couldn't tread water in flippers, nearly drowned and made my way back to speedboat.. pronto!!

Oh wow Lee- you have been to Mauritius too!!!!! I was trying not to say where I learned to scuba for 0 because my friend Alice worked for Courtaulds who were suppyling M&S with cheap pure cotton sewed at about 10p per hour in Alice's factory. Shirts/blouses cheap.
where in Mauri?

Blue Bay.. on the South East coast. Although I did see most of the island.
And yeah we came home with lots of Next/M&S/Hugo Boss/Armani tops etc that we bought for pennies direct from the factories!

Yes, though have the oddest stroke ever. Breast stroke while kicking my legs like a crawl. Also, a lot of the time, I tilt to a side stroke :conf: :joker:

Nope. Never learned because I'm terrified of water. Went down a big boys slide when I was only 4 or 5 and had to be pulled out of the water.

I'm awful at it, if it's anything more than a few meters I wouldn't be able to do it.

yes. But not in dirty water. I live right by the sea but I can't bare the thought of swimming in it.
Outdoor swimming pools preferably.
