They were the kind of days where I could play games and watch movies for hours on end. As much as I hate it I just don't get that anymore with the internet lying around. It's given us all horrible attention spans.

I used to be a right book worm. Still am to a degree. But as you say, you can't help being lured........ I'll sit with a book now and half my brains squirming..."am I missing something??" :bawling:

I was pretty late to it all. 2004-ish I think.

Used to be out a lot (though the 'net never changed that). When I think about it it all sounds pretty boring - life 'before' - but then what do people usually do? Skijump nightly?

Murders occupied a lot of my time as did other crimes of violence against the person. Just realised I havent raped anyone on a while now.

Got the internet in 99. The first website I discovered was GameFaqs where I thought it was absoloutely the filthiest thing ever on par with hardcore porn discovering I could put cheat codes into all the Megadrive games I had put blood and sweat into.

It was a joy discovering a nerds paradise where people as weird as me thought enough about video game characters to write bios on them. The net still is a nerds paradise but it's gone all mainstream now.

I loved the days where even the biggest corporations around would have horrific, geocities esque sites.

Final Fantasy 7 and Tomb Raider where always on here. Never played them, just watched and tried to help. I can't play games to save my bloody life. Used to have mates over quite a lot too. Got to a point though when I just wanted them to eff off by 2am though and give us some space!

I sometimes wonder how on earth I ever managed to buy stuff before the interwebby thingamijig...........but anything that saves you having to queue-up in stores to buy Christmas gifts has to be a good thing.

As I hinted and Lee almost said, you can see technology is getting out-of-hand when you are in the back seat of a car in Germany just enjoying different scenery and the front seat passenger texts you with a silly jokey thing!!!!!!
