My friend told me this story about her friend's cousin, I'm wailing with laughter, I don't know if it's just me but I think it's hilarious:

her mum was telling me that
her cousin has this pet budgie
and her rents took it to the vet
and the vet said it needed an injection but if it had the injection there was a chance it might die on the spot so they researched other ways of doing it and there was the bird expert guy who was like oh use this ointment and the vet rubbed it on the bird and it just died straight away in his hands and the girl was like horrified and the vet started giving the budgie mouth to mouth hahahah and the rents just burst out laughing
but now this girl has a horse! what a trade

and as the mum was getting out the car
the shoebox fell
and the budgie fell out and was lying on the pavement
